No, what I'm saying is, the second hand market for these games (Wii U physical) will now shoot up in price. And don't believe for one minute that these digital stores will be allowing you to keep redownloading forever. Eventually they will close down for good (in 10 years perhaps) and your physical copies will be the only 'true' game preservation option available.
I would still rather have physical over digital. Just look at what's happening over at Nintendo atm. They're shutting down the Wii U (I know it's not the most popular system) digital store now, which means physical is all you'll be able to use on that system.
Prices will quickly rise now for any disk based game, whilst being the only true way for "game preservation".
1. Buy yourself a ps4 physical copy and save yourself a few quid
For those of you who still want to dump on NMS, take the time to watch this video from Internet Historian.
You'll find there two sides to the whole NMS story. Somethings may surprise you. Like finding out Sean worked on the burnout franchise before starting Hello Games.

Would of preferred them to show a comparison image next to the previous map. They just say its roughly 7km sq with 5km area, that's playable within.
So basically, EA knew the game was f@#&ed from the start. Didn't care about putting out a finished product. Once got people's money....... well, they don't care really give a toss now. Might have an update late summer, but expect that to be delayed as well before they declare it dead.
As a woman with African roots, it was also startling to see Zulu face paint in the game being treated as a cosmetic, something you can get at a settlement for shards, as if it were fun Halloween makeup - completely removed from its cultural significance
Minor spoiler ahead.
Here's my problem with these kind of reviews, these people seem to forget that they are playing a game, with a make believe story. And (if they had bothered playing the original game) shou...
In the voice of Strauss Zelnick - "could we make the next gen upgrade free? Ha ha, good one......... Oh wait, your serious....... HAHAHAHAHA".
"DICE is used to rebuilding their own games, and has been able to do it "a number of times now."
Yeah........ And it shows. Its like rebuilding your home every time after a hurricane comes through, destroys your home and the only building materials you have to use to rebuild, is the wreakage of your old home!
"Dying Light 2 is a good game with too many issues to fully recommend - 0/10
WTF. I know we all s#*t on IGN (deservedly) for some of their review comments, but I think we've found a new winner for " "worst review ever" lol
"aurora borealis" lol
Metro exodus uses the feature to "jam" your guns
Same here. Put in emai and password (know correct because checked my ps4 and 5 details before trying) and just keep getting error code
Own a "digital" something??
We've owned "digital" games before. Then seen them removed entirely from "digital" store fronts
Ubisoft's NFT promise: 'We won't force our players to use Quartz
In other words, they will find a more "insidious" way to make you buy these, whilst calling them by a different name
I managed to grab the collectors edition for £40 about a year after it released. Was an enjoyable game, but I had just finished Shadow of the colossus, and whilst I enjoyed it, it was not as good when compared.
Lol. Just the other day I got a copy of Medal of Honor for the ps3 from the charity shop just so I could reply MoH Frontline (ps2 upgrade) HD.
If they bring ps 3 compatibles to ps5 then I can play 1 title, spread across 3 gens lmao
If people don't see the issue here then consider this. MS already have monopolization over the pc market (try find a brand new pc 'without' Windows pre installed). Sure you can put your own on there, but how many average consumers are going to do that?
Now they are putting a monopolization on the console market.
Ubisofts biggest mistake was pretty much letting 1 guy who's name I've forgotten, have creative control/oversight, over some their biggest franchises. That's why every Assassin's, Tom Clancy and Far Cry title are all the same now.
All looters.
Endless and pointless side quest.
The same Fort, Outpost, Checkpoint.
Time savers and micro transactions
Just like EA and a few big publishers, their best days were way back 10-20 years ago. ...
Does it come in black? /s
Looks great though. Can't wait
