I only buy the games I'm sure I'll enjoy and will give me good value for money. I've had the PS4 since launch and enjoyed every game I've bought, but I tend to play one game at a time (plus Fifa!), complete it, then sell it for a decent price. I bought GTA V for £40, completed it, and managed to sell it for £35, so I'm pretty happy with the value I got for that £5!
I've had Fifa 14, Battlefield 4, Killzone SF, Infamous SS, MGS V GZ, Fifa 15, Pro ...
Really want Codemasters to just take the old Jonah Lomu Rugby engine and update the graphics. I'd buy that 100%.
He was so eager to get the first comment in that he didn't bother reading the article :)
So far I've seen no reason why you'd need to spend real money, unless you're incredibly impatient.
Best way I've found is upgrading the intel team as much as you can, then more just appears on the map.
Yep, 100 hours on it. Epic game. Love em both. Find it difficult to compare though because although both open world, they're very different games. Each does certain things better than the other, I think it's quite objective which one people think is the best.
Rescue all the prisoners in Ground Zeroes, gives you a bonus for Phantom Pain, which you see after a few missions in.
Worked when I tried it later that day :)
Have you played MGS V?
I preordered it for £33 off rakuten a few weeks ago.
I don't reckon there'll actually be much need to buy them unless you're really impatient. The majority of player's won't bother so let the others waste their money if it's going to be put towards the development of their next game.
Go back and work on unlocking the alternative ending, it's supposed to be worth it.
I like how it's fairly easy to get money, makes me think the pay to win option won't be such an advantage on FOB (which is what I think Konami were trying to say).
I haven't been able to log in either. The FOB mode is online now I think.
There's a list on the article that shows that it gives you materials, GMP, and motherbase coins (the ones you usually have to pay for). So it can help you in the main game and FOB also.
Definitely want to be logging in Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I hope they give extra to those who have missed out on the first few days.
I got a code with mine but it doesn't work :(
http://metalgeartimeline.co... That's pretty useful with getting to grips with the basic story. Also loads of youtube vids.
Definitely worth listening to the tapes within the game, love how you can play them whilst doing other things.
I imagine the majority of MGS players probably think this. I only found out the difference when Ground Zeroes came out, before that I loved playing the games, but I had no idea what was going on in the story!
If that's the reason you're not playing the Witcher 3 then you really should try it.
I'm sure I get confused as much as the next guy about the MGS story, but I've got my head around it a little more with the help of articles like this and youtube vids.
Is the paragraph on Psycho Mantis suggesting that one of the young characters in Phantom Pain grows up to become Psycho Mantis?
Played the demo a bit more and they've definitely improved the rainbow flick so it doesn't stick to the player's feet. I personally struggled to defend against it in 2015. I like certain things about each of them, I like that they're different. I'll probably start with fifa then change to PES have way through the season again.
I don't think it'll put too many people off, not enough has changed for that. It definitely plays much more realistically, taking the best things from Pro Evo, but still keeping and improving everything else that makes Fifa great, I bought both last year, but for me I don't think Pro Evo will get a look in this season (although from the demo it's a good improvement also).
