What game has 1000 exploration planets with 100 being fleshed out at the quality level of starfield? And omg will you ppl stop comparing that small budget indie title with randomly generated planets with low level detail and nothing significant to do? The only thing Nms have in common is space/planet exploration that's where it stop.
As expected. I was thinking 10 planets will be fully fleshed out. For mainline story missions. Another 25-50 semi fleshed out for side missions and discovery. Another 50 barely (just animals, plants) for exploration. Rest would be be there just to fly by/fill the universe, sight see, resources, variety.
I stop to wonder how much of each planet can actually be explored cause no way each planet like a gta map. And will jetpack and space craft be used to travel?

I don't believe that to be true. MS post hardware numbers (not console) and MAU all the time. I'm 100% sure it profits even if the actual console dont. But having console creates the demand for the other hardware such as controllers and services that makes the profits. Them stop making consoles would destroy their market in controllers and services. And their platform would plummet

I disagree it's called priorities. They have bigger fish to fry. Way more important things and for me person idc for Vr. Kinda like Kinect which had an even bigger market than VR and sold pretty good. But I didn't gaf about it so all they did for me is take studio's away to focus on kinect games and etc. Same would happen with VR. They got other things to focus on right now imo.

When the merger news first popped when would've thought the Cloud would be the reason for it being held up and potentially not go through? I guess cause they're in "3rd" place in the console market regulators can't use that as an excuse so I guess cloud is the best reason. Life as in animals, people, etc. Just like in real life. Mars and every other planet in the galaxy other than Earth for example is lifeless. Let's say there's 100 galaxies. And 10 planets per. Probably 1 out of 10 would have life. The others will have resources you could harvest for XYZ. Some may even just be gas giants. Actually think real life but futuristic/fantasy.
