Jim Ryan probably crying right now. He said PS wouldn't survive without CoD and they never sign that Cod deal Xbox offered so they're not even required to put CoD on PS! Imagine Phil made CoD a timed exclusive for Xbox and all thise that signed the deal while PS users have to wait.
Right this whole debate is dum asf. If you don't like why would you do it? MS not forcing anyone to do it. Clearly they see it as profitable and beneficial.
Day 1 games is what get the subscribers up quick. Older games is what keeps them. So it all works.

Based off this the gamepass model works. You played games you wouldn't have (good for the developer) and even went on to buy it still. You've enjoyed GP and continue using it (good for Xbox) and they're getting money out of you. Plus those developers will continue putting their games on GP because of it. There games are getting played and MS are getting subs. It's a win win.
Yall say anything on here Halo 4 and halo 5 both sold over 9 million. Xbox games actually have a higher attach rate than PS games. Ps4 sold more than double the amount of XO. Yet Halo 5 sold around the same amount as TLOUS 2
