Yeah that really stinks. It wont affect most people but there is still a decent chunk of gamers who dont have access to decent internet or even internet at all. Seems like they’re probably doing it to save a buck or two on incuding a second disc but thats a bad look. Also, from a game preservation standpoint, not good.
I commend this dev for doing something unique but a lot of people are setting their expectations too high for this one. The game’s main goal is to mimic body cam footage and it only looks realistic in the way low-res cam footage looks realistic. Its a really cool trick, but everyone should keep that in mind. Dont expect high-res textures.

Given how different those games are, i dont share this take. SF looks good but I’m a Tekken guy and I havent played a FF since 10 launched. Diablo is the only one of those 3 that interests me and I wont even get it day 1.

Dont care. They did us dirty on the promise to support BFV for 2 years so i didnt buy 2042. Glad i skipped it and i have no intention of ever playing it. Honestly I’m probably done w the franchise as they just keep burning us.
Makes sense. Still crappy of them. To my knowledge, they didnt do this with any of their other games when a sequel was on the horizon.
