Insomniac as proven that it absolutely does not need it. But that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t have it.
The trailer showed us a team-up take-down so we can safely assume that either:
A) the game will have some missions use both characters akin to Arkham Knight
or B) the game will be built around using both characters throughout
My money is on the latter as Insomniac has shown it is capable of more than just copying feat...
I cant wait to play this in 2025 when PS5 supply finally meets demand and I can find the console at retail
Allow me to offer a counterpoint to your aimless shilling:
Sony is a public company. it owes a lot of shareholders (people) a profitable investment.
Perhaps you can refine your thought a bit next time if you aim to get some point across.
I couldnt remember if they did. I guess probably for their sports games. I know not for all of them because the recent star wars titles got free upgrades in my library.
Fortunately it seems only Activision and Sony do this as of now. Oh and 505…
I think i’ve beaten Metroid 2 about a dozen times. Cant wait to do it again.
Or frontier
Because some money isnt all the money. Its capitalism 101.
Is this their touted “big surprise”?
Ubi would love for us to think that simply adding tanks and a magic back-pack completely revolutionizes the series. After FC5, which I begrudgingly played in the hopes it did something new, I’m done with the series.
This might prove an unpopular opinion but… The best far cry was far cry 2. That game needs a remaster. It was a divisive feature but I absolutely loved the gun jamming. It would force you to react to an entirely unpredictable element and either take cover to clear the jam, or use another offensive tool to continue fighting. I also greatly appreciated how the map system worked in that you would actually have to physically use a map instead of a menu that magically paused the world you were try...
Someone’s been drinking the “American Dream” koolade. Not playing games, going to college, and getting a “good” degree wont guarantee anything save for the inevitable student loan debt. Are these things an option? Sure. But by no means is your prescribed path the only path to success in western life. And the “great” things China has done have all come at a very different, human cost.
Communist Dictatorship
All jokes aside, i think this would be their best move.
Is the surprise that it will be less grindy?
Trying for the no guns achievement on Mirrors Edge broke both me, and a set of car keys which was the closest thing in grabbing distance that wasnt a controller.
There are very few AAA games that I get excited for these days. Most of the big devs just put out bombastic, samey, monetization-filled faff. And god help us when they spot a trend… I usually pay attention to anything Devolver publishes.
Well stated. I would add that this cycle seems to predominantly apply to the largest publishers. EA, Actibliz, Ubi, 2K, and the like.
That game for me was Turtles in Time on SNES.
Not gaming itself but definitely this site it seems
