Nintendo has done all kinds of seemingly strange moves in the past 20 years but i cant see them making something more successful than the switch platform. Whatever they release moving forward will have to have a handheld and docked mode (a switch 2) since thats the primary reason for the switches success.
Could they go back to their old model of having a home console and a handheld? Sure. But I think they would be stupid to split their consumer base again after all this ef...
Can we try a new economy now please? The capitalist one just isnt doin it for the working class anymore.
As an 11 year old, i enjoyed this game. Im sure i would find some nostalgia in it now but theres no denying it played like absolute trash. That said, it would be cool if a studio took another try at a star wars fighting game now that EA no longer has exclusively.
Whatever they end up doing, they had better not overlook the capabilities of the steam deck. If valve can pack all that power into a handheld for the same price as a switch… well… you know… nintendo should, like, try the same thing i guess…
I really enjoy it. Its an interesting take on crafting.
Serious question: how was it a “huge step down?” The only thing i really missed was the enchantment system from oblivion. No more 100% invisibility lol.
Nope
Anyone who reads just one review and takes it as gospel is a fool. Other than documenting technical issues, they are just one person’s opinion.
I would also hardly call pokemon S/V a broken mess. There is a lot of pop-in and the world feels generic and empty most times. In my 50 plus hours playing it hard crashed twice. Its just ok. Not broken. Not up to nintendos standards. But it works as a product.
I just imagine people with my grandmothers sensibilities writing these crazy low scoring reviews. Anyone playing this knows exactly what to expect. Anyone reviewing the game this poorly either had their expectations way out of sync or just has an axe to grind against Roiland and co.
Cant wait to see how quickly that rubber separates from the grips! Is anyone really asking for rubber to be a feature of these pro controllers? I purchased the gen one xbox pro controller and had to replace it 3 times under warranty because the rubber kept separating. I will never buy a controller, especially at the “pro” price point, if rubber grips are involved.
Anyone else feel this way?
Nintendo rarely gives us what we want. Its kind-of hilarious at this point.
Smoke…
I didnt have kids when i played it and the beginning had me sobbing. That story left an impact on me
The amount of downvotes on a comment condemning CP. Should we be worried?
Lol yes the future sure is unknown.
Fall is too far…
How is it anti-consumer to cap a frame rate? Golly thats a tough one… They can literally flip a switch and we can play rdr2 on current gen at 60fps. The fact that they even capped it to begin with tells us everything. And before you go making more excuses for them, rdr1 is uncapped. Now why would the older game be uncapped? Is it because that game was from a time before they would resell us the same game with a few QOL improvements every consecutive generation?
This hurts me to say but eff RDR2 with their frame capping. Take Two games isnt as openly anti-consumer as some others but imo they are one of the worst publishers. Cant even give us quality of life upgrades…
Yeah i dont want crossplay w PC: Specifically w PvP. Even though im a console gamer i am acutely aware of the massive advantage PC gamers have in virtually every category.
Elite 3 w no rubber grips and ill get it day 1
