This! I was about to write the same thing. Even though i'm well beyond rank 100 and haven't paid a dime i have to say that the whole online part is catered to users buying shark cards or have to go through endless grinding.

The only thing x1 has exclusive, except of a handful games at the beginning, is the fact that it's probably the console with the least amount of exclusive games, ever. But at least fans can buy controllers at 100$+, watch 4k discs and play old games^^

As a gta fan since the first game the main game was boring imo but the addons were simply amazing.
These were the times when multiplayer was free and ps plus was optional (as it still should be), so they had to offer games that made people want to sign a subscription. And because(and even if) they make much more money off ps plus nowadays, sony does not have to offer "big" games on a regular basis. But atleast there were a few gems from time to time.

Xander, there never were that many to begin with. 360's numbers were heavily inflated by rrod, when some bought the console twice or more outside the exchange service covered by microsofts exchange service, not to mention the upgraders from non-hdmi models to hdmi versions.
People hope that spencer is the savior of the xbox brand before shareholders pull the plug because they are done with it. this guy's actions mainly consisted of doing the exact opposite of the vision ms xbox division had for x1 aka doing 180s. Ironically he was part of the team who envisioned x1 as a tv device which was expected to sell 200 million+. But now he is all about the very few games.....^^

Don't you know that sony is making a large chunk of their income by license fees they get from third party parties for every single game unit sold on ps4? Last time i read, an article stated that in the ps3/360 days sony/ ms earned 3-10$ lincense fee for each copy of a third party game sold on their system (ps3/360) . now imagine one single game sell 5million times and sony ,at the lowest, takes 3$ per unit in license fees the...

Yes agreed to 100%. beeing released on pc and ps4 makes it multiplatform and a console exclusive at best which isn't bad because ps4 still got/ will get boatloads of true exclusives. I preach it all time when it comes to xbox/ pc and same goes for ps4/ pc.

You guys still do not get it. Sales transits into support, support transits into more sales and so on . You can see this with the vast catalogue of games ps4 has and will have to offer and its sales. that makes it much more popular worldwide while xbox mostly attracts the hardcore xbox fans who want to play the same few franchises over and over again.
