Ms is the richest company of the current 3 in the console business yet they don't manage to give their console decent support with games of own studios.

They are an ancient relict of failed market research. Spencer only was the first exec to realise this. Now he can stop burning all that money for something that doesn't pay off and instead offer us a doomsday console for a reasonable price.

People select their prefered console based of games they can play on any platform and games which released last gen. In addition we all know a powerful device is way more important than the software. Xbox fans don't want exclusives anyway. They prefer multiplat titles because they know that consumers will not choose their console because of the available exclusives but because of the xbox live network, back combatibility, uhd drives and later on, more power. These are the reasons xbox userbase will grow again and xbox will strike back, destroy sony and dominate the console business forever, PERIOD.

"New and fresh consoles" that's a thing of preference. Sony doesn't have a new console in 2017 so it's up between ms and nintendo.

Well, at the moment there is not much negative to say about ps4/ sony because they are offering fans around the world what they what. We get quality exclusives, we have the solid hardware to play these games on with different options of hardware and a network that has drastically improved since last gen( i haven't had issue since these ddos attacks by lizard squad at christmas time, 2015 or 2014. i don't remember.) so maybe it's because most of these "slightly" negative ...

1. releasing all their exclusives on pc
2. closing a majority of their first party
studios and only let remain a small amount
of them.

So excited for this game and i hope it turns out to be as good as it seems. Love the art direction and the characters. Gameplay also seems solid and like in the good old days of 3d plattformers . One of my most wanteds for 2017, besides horizon, nioh and crash Nsane Trilogy.

I think you are right, unfortunately. Every now and then you see comments suggesting sony/ ms should stop making consoles and release for all platforms. But in ms'\ sony's case that's nonsense. These people don't realise that console manufactuers probably make the largest chunk of their money with lincensing thirds to release games on their console (xb1/ps4) while first party games are mainly there to attract consumers(still the goal for first parties...
