@Schiller: Why are you still dealing with this. Move on! And you should not buy any NX. Instead buy yourself a PS4, Xbox or PC (if you haven't already) and you'll be happy with it. But most improtantly stop living in the past.
I don't think that there will be any further support as the Team behind CTE were the last people to work on BF4. I think they will move on to BF5 now (what EA wants to release this year).
@Foxtrot: If you compare Uncharted that way than you can compare Zelda games that way as well. In OoT and TP they made a more "realistc" look, in WW they had a cartoon look and in SS they had a watercolored look.
Mario Galaxy was totally different from 2D Mario games and Mario 64 was diffrent from both of them. Same counts for Mariokart where they implemented flying and diving and later gravity.
Also Luigies Mansion, Splatoon and Pikmin are totally new conce...
I also hope that they improve on the virtual console part as it is a cool feature.
It's obviously for children or beginners as there is a comparable mode in Yoshis Wooly World.

You're among the few to understand what this patent is about. That's what I thought exactly.
I think the should not develop whole games for them but I think it's cool to have them for some additional content. People should see this content as kind of a preorder bonus only that you have one amiibo for multiple bonuses in many games.
This would be an interesting project.
@ED: I understand that I overreacted here. But I can not understand why everyone is so pessimictic when it comes to NX. We do not know what the NX is going to be at the end. All I see is that Nintendo is undergoing drastically changes for some time now and that is why I think making predictions at the moment is not that simple. Of cours there is the possiblity the NX won't impress but there is also the possiblity that it will be great.
@ED: Speak for yourself. Only because you and a handful of people on N4G abandoned Wiiu and futur Nintendo consoles doesn't mean that everyone has. Also Patcher does not have any clue what the NX is and his "prediction" is only based rumores.
You say he is often right because you dislike the NX although we no nothing about it and there is nothing to dislike at the moment. But if he said PS VR is going to flop, you'd definitly say otherwise.
@Kaleb: Don't make the mistake to confuse the new Final fantasy games from the last ten years with the real FF games that were made by Squaresoft (MAYBE one exception is FF12 from Square-Enix). The FF trilogy (first of them not so much but the rest for sure) appeals the most to teenage girls that want to play a girls love story how is that not niche.
Not more niche as Final Fantasy. And the world is perfectly designed.
@ Monkey: Zelda was almost every time an open world game at least imo. What you say is what they need to worry about with making Zelda more of an RPG as an action adventure.
He probably means it's going to be more like OoT as the newer Zeldas had much more japanese themes in it.
One of the best games this generation. People miss out if they don't play it.
A new AoE would be great.
