How did this guy mod a game that's only on consoles right now?
Yeh I noticed the same thing, aside from a different jump, melee, and super ..none of them really differed from each other. But another user was telling me they start to branch out with "subclasses" ..so maybe at higher levels the differences start to show. I think I'm either gonna with Hunter or Titan though, leaning towards Hunter since that was my first playthrough character lol
Yeh I guess I wasn't really paying attention to that until I read it in article. This definitely didn't have the low quality you expect from an alpha, which beckons the question ..how much better will it be when we see the final build?
An honest assessment of Destiny after the alpha is that I'm definitely keeping my preorder. It was pretty, didn't encounter a single bug, and the UI from a design and efficiency aspect are the cleanest I've seen in a game to date. I thought it was fun, but the alpha and it being limited, shed some light on the gameplay being, that once you capped out it was basically just running around shooting. Yeh I was a little late to console gaming, Vegas was my first real intro to multiplayer and I played it on the PC with one other friend and we had a blast. I did play the original Rainbow Six games, but they we're in a league of their own.
Yeh but I know what you mean, MP is at its best when its like that.
This game reminds me of Vegas (the best game that ever was) ...hopefully we see that same level of team oriented gameplay with great hit detection. Probably the first "innovative" multiplayer's I've seen in a while. But Patriots was announced and then disappeared, hopefully this really sees the light.
You said it perfectly Mike, I told my friend when I saw the trailer that it looked like a well done mod of bf4. I don't know what's happening but the best experience I had was bad company 2, felt like we've been moving away from that ever since. Damn shame, damn shame.
Hmm I didn't really notice this subclass thing ...I created characters for all 3 classes, guess I wasn't paying attention. Gotta turn on the alpha again and check it out ..what can u switch to exactly for Hunter for example? You just got me excited again for the game
Either way, how long are u really gonna play with those items before moving on to bigger and better? ...the real content is the map and even then weak. Loving the game so far, got bland once I capped out but that's where the full version comes into play
Yeh the alpha is definitely not carrying over. I think it was positioned for you to try all 3 classes (which I did) in a quick way. The beta may carry over, but I expect them to follow suit and perhaps do a level cap at 15 for the beta.
Yeh whitey u gotta play with people or it's just not as fun. Can't wait for the beta, the alpha was such a tease.

Yeh I totally noticed the time ..at first I thought I was imagining it but it definitely got darker. I haven't got past the first mission yet, didn't wanna play alone ..but so far I'm enjoying it. Definitely keeping my pre-order
The thing I love most about Destiny, and I liked this before even playing it ..is the UI, so clean and simple. I do a little designing and it always annoys me when I play an MMO or RPG and the menu & UI are just cluttered and overwhelming. Game devs should take a page out of Bungie's book, turned the game on yesterday and it was so easy to quickly pick up on my stats and inventory, etc. Also this game looks great on PS4 no question, wonder if it will look better once the final game sh...
What Swiggins said ..and despite the weak points in both Sony/Microsoft ..these games are all multiplat ..so we all win. The Division ..hands down, amazing.
I'm Indian from Africa living in America. Although no one will top Vaas, this guy doesn't look half bad. The Protagonist sounds kinda weak from the little I heard, sounds like another Brody-esque character. Either way, the helicopter and elephants have me sold lol
@Drakir ...dude. pick. it. up. Your gonna get to play an amazing with *even better* graphics. The characters make GTA V worth it alone. Like I've been playing watch dogs and honestly, it's weaker in terms of narrative and characters compared to gta. That game just pulled me in, there were things I didn't like about it, but hands down a game you gotta play.
Sony guy here. I thought Xbox was lackluster in the games department, except for the Division which blew my mind again. But I will give Xbox credit for less chit chat and more games. Sony started off good, then the momentum just fell off with some really boring stuff, felt it was way too long, but ultimately had better games ..the last few games blew it out the water.
