Don't think it's technical limitations but rather design choice. They don't want you to turn the level into dust before the end of the match.

Lol, Activsion (or even EA) + Team Bondi, it would be a real labor camp in there.

At least the "workers" there should be salvaged by other studios if it has to close, they deserve it.

I find it more (not completely) realistic and more interesting/challenging in term of gameplay to look for the sniper by yourself than spot his location using the killcam at the moment of your death.

Wow, best game. Good game, but not the best I'd say. I think the three GTA of the previous generation were more memorable.
It's indeed R*'s most ambitious title though.

Stan is now a "cynical assh*le".

Clearly.

I agree though that IW might not support modding for MW3. Their community manager, no I mean "creative strategist" (like it makes a huge difference) Bowling doesn't give a sh*t about PC gaming.
At least, Treyarch's community manager came from the modding community (he started up a CoD mod website) so he understand these things.

EDIT: It's really sad to see the COD series, and especially Infinity Ward dropping modding (as...

The Black Ops modtools (beta) are out there... but I should add "finally". They were released like a month after the official release date.
They sounded like they had technical problems, but I suspect they received pressure from Activision because they wanted them to hold until the second map pack's release...

Actually, Treyarch supported World at War modding heavily.

While BF3 seems to aim realism to a certain extend, it's still not a sim and don't try to be one so they gotta keep some balance for the gameplay.

That's why they cut off some animations for the multiplayer part like vehicle enter/out.

Theater mode is a better feature for that (the last part).

Yep, when you read the former Bondi employee's claim on gameindustrybiz actually, they think the company and the game survived thanks to Rockstar's financing and efficient marketing, and that the publisher too wasn't pleased with Team Bondi's "terrible" direction.

I would have preferred they came out with their action-adventure Call of Duty title.

It could also be felt which choice was more rightful than the other, "morally" and in term of gameplay.
For example, between killing Playboy and Dwayne, if you kill the latter, you'll only receive cash from Pboy and you'll never see him again, while if you take out Playboy, you'll hang out with Dwayne and he'll give you the apartment you can't get by other ways.
So they were not real "choices".

The only one that could m...

I guess Revelations will be a good game but it's really hard to imagine an Assassin's Creed III that won't come next year since the game is taking in place in 2012, and the climax is set for December 21st (the launch date of Abstergo's satellite).

That would leave Ubisoft teams only a year again to make the third and "last" installment. I was hoping they'll get 2 years like they did for ACII.

Brotherhood and Revelations look fres...

I play on PC and like every games of the series, the version for this platform was delayed. I could have played it on console like AC II but my Xbox was RROD.
When Brotherhood was first released, I thought of it as a good game but just some kind of AC 2.5 with online multiplayer.

When I finally got my hands on it on PC, I was pleasantly surprised. The game took everything good in AC II but also in AC I, improved them and corrected everything wrong in the second instal...

I think the best we could have for AC III is Paris AND London during the 19th century. That would be HUGE.

Well I would like to play an Assassin's Creed in Japan too but really as an Assassin, not a ninja.
I would really like to play an Assassin running around the open cities of Edo (feudal-era name of Tokyo) and Kyoto participating in historical events, and correct me if I'm wrong but that kind of game was never done before.
Ninja would be a faction like thieves.

I think the story should take place in Bakumatsu (end of the shogunate's reign, literally)...
