Cerny is so smart. He went to hundreds of developers and asked what they wanted to see in PS5. They asked for a super-fast SSD, and that's what he gave them. I don't think people realize what a game changers this will eventually be. It may take a year for third parties to wrap their head around it, but this is going to be huge.

They will both be faster in certain situations. It'll be up to the developers to maximize both systems. I also am wondering how MS weird memory setup will work. It could be a hinderance in some ways. That being said, Sony has some weird throttling with their CPU, so again, developers will need to figure out the pros and cons of each.
If gamers only look at Tflops, then yes. But Tflops do not matter as much in this generation. Plus Sony's GPU is fater, as is their SSD. This is going to be a game changer in Sony's favor. It's going to be up to developers how they use the advantages of each system. However, knowing Sony, their first party games will beat anything the MS can deliver.
This will probably happen in the US soon, as many school across the country are closing, and parents are being told to work from home using VPN.

What I meant is that the flu this season has killed about 20,000 people, the coronavirus has killed about 3500. You only die if you have poor health or are old (in most cases). This virus is nothing compared to the Swine flu.
It killed and infected way more people, and we weren't even close to panic rate this virus is causing.

No way!! Why? The media is blowing this thing way out of proportion just like everything. The common flu is more deadly than this virus. It has one of the lowest death rates of any virus/illness of this type. Do you own research and for the love of God stop watching the news.

I completely agree with you. Publishers care more about their investors than gamers. I'm sorry, but anyone over 50 should NOT be deciding what should and shouldn't be in a game. And if you are one of those losers paying to loot boxes and microtransactions, YOU are the problem. They will never stop this crap until YOU stop buying it. However, that will not help rushed, lazy developers.
I actually loved the conference. It's too bad it went over most people's head. If you had gotten it, you would be PUMPED for PS5. It was designed to have no bottlenecks, and just be a speed demon. In some ways, it will have more power than the xbox. I also could care less about backwards compatibility , but that's just me.
