once you get mainstream parts, you will need a bit modified drivers, however i dont imagine sony or MSFT dealing themselves with the burden of develloping video drivers themselves. Microsoft on the other hand owns a very powerfull Library called directx, and video card manufacturers need to stick close to it, i am on nvidia`s side with an sli 680 and i believe it will do fine for the next 5/6 years

I had a PS3, i waited 5 years for gt5, i did buy it day one. A week later i sold PS3 With all games i had. All a waste of money.
Gt5 was a complete disapointment To me. Eternal loadings, online crashes, shitty game. No 1080p, nor AA just updated gt4 textures

Gt5 is crappy environments, low texture assets, needed 50 patches To be playable and those famous 10 minutes before every damn race.
unless you live Under a rock and go out just to buy your blurayz, we can allready Stream flawlessly in codecs much better than blurayz all the movies you can dream of,
and dont worry about games cause we may have less exclusives but at least we have better multi plats, not sub hd ports with no AA and lots of screen tearing not to mention a far Superior online service
name one single game that will need the 8 gb.....
its not like the most ps3games with 24 gb disk space, they just dont mention dual or triple allocation of the same files in order to speed up load times due to the hyper slow bluray player
