I'm not. Go back to the good old days of Modern Warfare.

I hate this new futuristic stuff they're coming out with now.

Anger here. All of a sudden my PS4 will be rendered obsolete with sub-par performance? Developers are going to optimize to the newest system and say "Oh, you have an older model? Sucks for you!"

Meanwhile people who buy the new PS4 will have the optimal experience and will experience the game the way it was meant to be.

It's a very average game. Nothing grabs me

I prefer Ghosts over the futuristic sci-fi crap. It was the last REAL call of duty for me.

Yeah, I don't get why everything else uses screen space reflections except for the static (wrong) reflections in the windows.

Still looks just as good as the reveal.

Can you play offline though? My friend lives out in the sticks and there's no cable on his street

I for 1 would hate knowing that the game I bought is running or looking sub par on my system because I haven't upgraded to the newest version.

Also, what happens when people are playing online with each other and some people have an unfair advantage (like higher frame rate or longer draw distances)?

I like that on normal consoles, everyone has the same setup.

Even with Driveclub's launch, I still loved the game. I don't really like multiplayer, so I just played the single player and I thought it was fantastic. The game keeps getting better and better and it turned into my favorite retail game this generation so far.

I look at comparisons to see if my console of choice has screen tearing and to see what the frame rate is like.

If it goes above 30fps, then it's just an unlocked frame rate. That just means the cap is actually at 60fps. Whether or not it ever reaches 60fps is another story though.

In the case of Second Son, the game was much more consistent and for me it ran a lot better once it was locked down to 30fps. The controls felt consistent and not having the frame rate fluctuate made the game feel more polished.

Can someone explain to me what an "unlocked 30fps" means?

You either cap your game at 30fps so that the frame rate cannot go HIGHER than 30fps, or you cap it at 60fps, so the frame rate can fluctuate anywhere from 1fps to 60fps. What the hell is unlocked 30fps?

Speaking about graphics alone... couldn't they squeeze even better visuals out of 30fps?

Driveclub did this and that has been my favorite PS4 game so far.

The lighting an weather effects look nowhere near as good as the original reveal.

Why didn't you make a backup? Then you wouldn't need to redownload anything.

3680d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Mikeyy: you didn't have to lose PT. You should have just made a backup of your PS4 drive. I've backed up, installed a 2TB drive, and restored my backup and I STILL have full access to PT. No issues.

Also keep in mind guys... PS4 doesn't have trim support so if you're gonna get an SSD, make sure you get one with built in trash collection (like an SSD with a SandForce controller).

3680d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

That's what I just said. It's not worth it to have an SSD in your PS4 because the games are not made to take advantage of the speed of an SSD

So much screen tearing in the Xbox One version. Ewww.
