I don't mind saying that the XBOX One is becoming more and more attractive.
I think the backwards compatibility is a great factor and gift to gamers, in general.
I give Microsoft credit for that.
Microsoft will not allow cross game "inter-mingling" between Playstation and XBOX users.
This has been a pretty well regarded fact for years.
The Barrier would be Microsoft.
But maybe one day it could happen.
I don't have an XBOX One, but I have to admit that it's a very cool feature.
This generation, Microsoft is delivering alot of features.....I have to concede that if I'm being honest.
TOMB RAIDER disagrees with you _-EDMIX-_. Also the PS3 had approx 400 Gigaflops of output. The PS4 has 1.8 teraflops...or 1,800 Gigaflops. That's approx 4-5 times more output.
Well, the PS4 and XBOX One are already 4 - 5 times more powerful than their predecessors (PS3 and XBOX 360).
I hate to sound all greedy, but I'd like more to ensure that we get a real generational leap next gen.

I disagree.
I'm looking at Tomb Raider....it looks good, and it still runs on the XBOX 360....looks pretty decent, imo.
And I know......what about open world?
Well, I think GTA 5 looks better than Fallout, and it obviously ran fine on PS3 and XBOX 360, as well.
Edit in...Oh, and don't forget MGS5 looked damn good on PS3 and XBOX 360 too.
Fallout 4 could definitely have been on PS3 and 360.
It's called diminishing returns. We've gotten to a point that it will take even more power than before to get significantly better graphics.

I personally don't think it's going to matter much because weaker hardware is weaker hardware, I don't care how much you program for it.
