Halo REACH = SUB HD
Now....look at PS3's 2010 retail exclusives...not only are they all HD..but SOME of them are even native 1920 x 1080p.
I don't wanna hear 360 is somehow equal in power when it clearly is showing UNEQUAL power.
No offense to you or anyone else, but just like a MISSOURIAN ...show me......
But here's what I'm thinking/hoping they could do...
They could open 1...just 1 PVP world where PC are the villains and PS3 are the hero's.
PC = villains because of their 3rd party app support
PS3 = Hero's because they are playing natural and "pure".
That would be hot.
But it is clearly hitting its own ceiling.
If its own 2010 retail exclusives are having to dial down the resolution to SUB HD levels in order to compensate for other details,
Then its clear the XBOX 360 is nearing the end of its "power potential".
Not much debate to the contrary.

The reason they are having such problems with the PS3 version is because PC developers are used to running sloppy code. You try and port that slop to the PS3, it will spit it right back out at you. ID are PC developers at heart and their fan acclaim is based off of past acclai...

There was a series of patches that got que'd up from DICE/EA, but from what I understood, the XBOX 360 wasn't getting them at the same time as the PS3 because their Q/C or certification or whatever takes longer.
This example is Not really a big deal,
but I think we can all see this getting worse and worse, especially as Sony gives the keys (more keys) to the developers hands.
But aimed for 2011?

Microsoft just put out this slim partly due BECAUSE of the issues 360 has continually had.
If they were to bring a new console out so soon, significantly fewer people would adopt the new one. Sure there would be some fools to still adopt a new 360 early, but MANY more would not, and rightfully so.

MADDEN, NHL, FIFA, BOXING, BASKETBALL....GOLF? Any of these 2010 games should be 1080p, but they're not. XBOX 360 has its own version of 2K10 baseball as well, btw.
