This is great news as it sets the bar that needs to be surpassed by SONY with the PS5.
TBH, I am very happy with what the current get of consoles has to offer and more specifically with the games that have been "optimized" for the PRO.
Happy to enjoy the XB1X if the games available will justify the investment.
The future of gaming is brighter and brighter.

This gives me mixed feelings, on one end I am very happy to see that Nintendo is keen to reach out to its clients and gather their feedback to make things better (I wish Sony and MS would embrace similar practice) on the other end it is a manifestation that something is not quite right with the Switch and Nintendo is trying to pinpoint and prioritize it. I am not a Switch owner (yet) but probably lack of big hitters at launch and poor build quality would be on my top list for the survey. Over...

I was tempted to get on the NMS bandwagon after all these new updates at a fraction of the initial cost.
However with the advent of Elite Dangerous I think I will stick to the latter as it is almost trying to compare Disney Channel (NMS) with Discovery Channel (ED) when you are into science Fiction.
Moreover having ED "real multiplayer" is a more appealing choice.

It all comes down to price ... if they can afford a $50 price cut this thing will fly off the shelves like fresh made chocolate donuts. Bundle it with Spiderman or any upcoming heavy hitters and you have an avalanche of sales.

Proud (former) owner of a Commodore 64, and even at that early stages of Video Games entertainment there were people fighting on which was better the Commodore or the Spectrum. Or the Commodore Amiga and the Atari XT. Those were good times !

Imagine for a second if all that GPU power would be in the hands of Console developers who would optimize the heck out of it! What do you think it would come out of those games? Take Horizon as a benchmark that is running on a PS4 Pro (which equates to a medium to low level GPU compared to these beasts). If the PS5 and XBOXXX will be able to squeeze even half of these TFLOPs it would be a game changer.
