If you have not played it yet then YES ... If you have a fetish for remaster then YES ... if you want to showcase your newly purchased PS5 with a game with top notch graphics then YES ... otherwise save some mulahhh for upcoming next gen games which will actually bring a breath of fresh air to the industry.

Not bashing the game but it looks VERY similar to Dead Space (which remake is approaching) with enemies who resemble G.T.F.O.'s enemies ... I am sure that the game will be fun and scary BUT i feel like the creative minds of the game studio should spend a little more time brainstorming .... finger crossed for this one !!

Amazing how pushing down the throat of the gamers the same heated soup will give them strong results ... mind you they are not stupid, we are ... (I did not buy a FIFA nor an F1 for ages, all they are doind is selling DLCs at full price with small incremantal improvements).

Totally enjoying this game and I am a bit addicted (in a scary fun way). I wonder how they are going to top this one with their next games. Pretty tought to beat in IMHO, they must have some aces up their sleeves. In the end Us gamers will benefit from it.

Unfortunatelly this casts some darker shadows on a half aborted game that is no more fun then its predecessors (trust me I have tried a lot to like it!!). They have lost possibly a bag of money on the rushed release and in line with EA code of business conduct they are trying other means of monetization. It is unfortunate because if the game would have released in the current state things would have gone way for the better.

On one side an OS (Windows) which is showing its age even with the graphical revamp of Windows 11.
On the other side an investment in teh gaming space where the focus is not the hardware but a subscripion model which may or may not appeal. The key to success and client retention is innovation and some are doing better then others.

I do not want to sound arsh ... but nobody asked for it. it is only EA trying to be politically correct and do "the right thing" in light of all the $#IT they eat all the time. If they were smart(er) they would have allocated those resources to make the game more playable and less on rail / scripted.
