I don't know if you've played BF2 recently at all, because the recoil isn't as bad as you remember. If you tried shooting an MG while standing, your gun doesn't go flying towards the sky, but the bullet spread is incredibly inaccurate. Which seems to hold for the BF3 trailers, so I don't see the problem.

The hell are you talking about? DICE released a 2GB patch for BF2 three or four years after the game was released! And what, you think the games should be 100% perfect? I know it's different, but...when are FPS's going to break out of this mold of perks, killstreaks, and the like? Minecraft is an intentionally retro game, and I think a lot of its appeal comes from its simple yet surprisingly deep gameplay. Some of these requests seem like the intrusion of the modern gamer, who needs numbers to tell him to keep playing the game. Minecraft is essentially a game about creativity, because while you may have all the minerals in the world, at the end of the day, it's about how you use them.
