F*** that, Battlefield 3 just came out last year. I've been playing BF1942 and BF2 for years and years before Bad Company came out, and it was great, gave you time to fully appreciate the game. The community for BF2 is still huge after all this time. What is this going to become, CoD, where the previous game gets thrown away and abandoned in favor of the slightly altered new annual release?
The gap between BF2 and BF3 made the final product worth the wait; another core s...
EA...doesn't make the game?
There are two types of people commenting on this article:
-One that sees "Activision" in the title and immediately post hateful comments.
-And everyone else who actually read the article.
That being said, I honestly feel bad for the Activision employees in charge of the event. They were probably going to order the backpack from Oakley once the winner was declared, not anticipating it would be discontinued, which may not have be t...
Yeah, DICE just spent the last 6 years creating the best looking game ever made, with three other games in between. They're really slacking off.
You may not know it, but DICE made games before Battlefield 3, hence the 3, and they were amazing games with a huge community and a lot of support. Hell, Battlefield 2 got a 1.5GB patch almost three years after it came out.
That's where the dedication comes from.
That's just for PIPA. I believe with SOPA it only takes one violation.
Meh, this one's better:

Got Portal 2 for just opening my inventory. Already have it though. The next 8 gifts were all coal and coupons.
No offense to the developers, but those games kinda look terrible compared with the IndieGala or Humble Bundle offerings.
The last point is moot because nobody plays a Battlefield game for TDM.
I feel like the core of this hate is the general dislike of greed and people who profit with little effort. COD hasn't seen very much innovation in the past few years. Combine this with Activision's annual release model, and it creates an image that the company is deliberately putting in a less effort because it knows the game will make ridiculous amounts of money regardless. It feels like Activision is exploiting gamers' interest in FPS's and may be stagnating the genre. I fe...
Stop quoting Zero Punctuation.
A space setting isn't proof of anything. Nintendo had already included similar suspended-platform levels in Sunshine, and unlike Hollywood, the setting actually worked well and provided a lot of gameplay innovations.
These reasons are a lot more legitimate than the ones for their other article. Probably because BF3 will actually be better.
Minecraft is already a pretty big thing, at least for PC gaming. I think a lot people are upset to see a rising indie developer get this treatment so early on. Sure, Mojang made millions off of their game, but they're still just a few guys in a small office.
Minecraft...without a mouse? BLEH.
Did that lightning bolt hit the ground and make fire?
Not well.
I think the IP's were only used by Sony to try to get a trial in California, not even about the actual infringement case.
Good decision, pick up Arma II Combined Operations and download DayZ, much better game.
