hmm big isn't always better though. It can be 100 million square miles for all i care but that doesn't matter if the terrain is boring and lacking variety.

i think only fanboys compare it to kz tbh. Which is annoying cus i think Kz's graphics were good, but the colour scheme was so dull and boring :(
BUT i still do think that these screenshots arn't as impressive as when COD4 was first announced which is dissapointing.
I am looking frwd to more info at E3 though because i hope that they've really put a lot of effort into this game rather than the tempting route of simply riding COD4's success.
they always do that... theres 2 development teams. Each team takes 2 years to develop a game which means that we get a game every year.
My worry though is that they do need a new engine for the next game, IW are using COD4 engine for mw2 but i dunno what treyarch are using for COD7. It needs a new engine tbh but i'd much rather have IW develop it than treyarch else i guess they will have to use an outside engine
can't really tell about the gameplay yet tbh but sure it will be. And your right. although the game releases in around 6 months, their main focus will be on the gameplay followed by tarting up the graphics.

yeh i loved ssx. was a great little game, it went a big downhill in recent times though imo but the first was certainly 1 of my fav games from the ps2 (was multiplat tho if i remember rightly + it is EA after all :p_
that would be great. If i remember rightly the original came out at a time when there were lots of other games out and it got overlooked. Even though i bought it myself i probably didn't play it as much as i should have. Would be good to see what they can do with the current hardware available to them!
whats KZ got to do with this :/ the game just doesn't wow me, but then again cod has always been about gameplay.
I guess the problem is that 2 years ago COD4 wowed us cus it had amazing graphics for it's time, but since then there games are just getting better and better.
I doubt these clips really do the game justice though and i'm surprised they keep showing em rather than just waiting cus for me it's had a negative impression even though i'm still v much looking ...

gotta be honest. It's starting to show it's age now. I have no doubts the game will still be good though. As long as the graphics do the job then it's the gameplay what matters. I mean i love socom but that's far from a graphical achievement, but the graphics are good enough and i play the game for it's gameplay

if you don't plan on using your ps3 while you download:
when you select to download, it asks you if you wish to download in the background. if you dont select download in background it will just download where it is (plus it gives u an estimated time left) + when it's finished downloading it will auto install
Kill Crow, even without the install (which doesn't take v long at all), ps3 download are a lot slower than 360. I dunno why but always have been for me. It can't be my connection thought because obv using the same connection for both ps3/360. just the way it is
sucks tbh. i'll try again 2nite but even then i can't download it on my 360 instead cus my Gold sub ran out a few months back and aint been bothered with resubscribing :(
ah so it wasn't me haha my internet was shocking last night though so i just presumed it was me :p will try again tonight and if not dl it for the 360 instead (although will i able to cus i'm back to being a Silver member now :()

I have 10mb download speed but it probably only goes at around 1mb every 1-2 seconds
