A time limited demo by 24h or a day or two would have been far more agreeable. It's clear this is an attempt to stave off the small base of players who keep on repeatedly play the same demo over and over again and get them to actually buy the game.
More games, more censorship and further diminished japanese support.
I read somewhere about how denuvo would tell developers to remove the tech afterwards when sales would slow down and how it could be turned into good pr. Or maybe im just misremembering things.
2018 has been a good year however.....
KH3, dmc5, RE2R, Sekiro, Project Re: Link, Nioh 2, God Eater 3, Doom Eternal, Ace Combat 7, Fight Knight and many more.
Im having a hard time seeing how it isn't going to surpass 2018.
Well, that's nice.
Their next move is probably a mobile title to earn some more capital and hopefully afterwards an attempt at AA or AAA game.
Look at Cygames, not one but two console games: Project Awakening and Project Re:link.
Not only that, they've also showed interset in working on a Z.O.E sequel should Konami ever lift their fat a*****.
There's pleny of opportunity for Tabata if handled carefully.......as lon...
Maybe Conan got a spot as a character in the game or maybe lent his voice ?
Most likely a promotional thing though, Conan is still popular these days.
Gimme something new.
If it is a new Ninja Gaiden, they should atleast try and get some pointers by Itagaki. It's just not the same without him.
Oh, and drop a trailer for Ni-Oh 2 while you're at it.
It's not been necessarily downgraded.
I thought this mobile game was a sort of introduction for the new protagonist for the next console Yakuza game since Kiryu is now "dead".
Or was i wrong ?
Gimme a new Prinny and Makai Kingdom game please !
People say cultural differences as a cause and yet miss the part where they censor the same game in Japan.
I don't believe the devs are the ones to blame, their higher ups most likely told them what to announce.
Not defending Diablo Immortal but seeing the devs get attacked for something they may not have control over is a bit unfair.
Sweet jebus !
Trying to reach 100 mil is not such a far fetched idea anymore.
Right.

I don't care about the supposed politics or agenda they might be pushing with TLOU2 or if there even is any, if it ain't fun to play, why bother calling it a video game ?
Hey, as long as it's a game and not a glorified cutscene viewer.
Was it fun ?
I planned on buying it for the Vita but the PS4/PC version seems to be a clear upgrade.
Hmmm.
Wonder if the large amount of 1st party, exclusives and 3rd party multiplatform games might have something to do with that.
I believe once the Switch gains an even larger user base, more 1st party and multi games roll out on the Switch on a more shorter and timely fashion, indie games might slowdown on the Switch as well.
Not trying to downplay the indie games at all, it's great that they've found a loyal platform that buy...
There's cash to be made on nostalgia.
It mimicking the NES/SNES Mini is really a non-matter.
Not like Nintendo was the first to do this.
Nice journalistic work you got there....
A shame you would base it off a couple of theorizing tweets all the while ignoring the fact that FF titles have appeared on platforms outside of Sony for quite a while now.
It could be the year 2099 and online-only would still be one the more sh***** features implemented in recent times.
It really only should be applicable for MMO's and nothing more.
1. You lock out customers that lack a ready & steady internet connection. Some don't even have that.
2. You bought it and yet you don't have full ownership since the game relies on a constant online connection for both content and gameplay. One...
There are many different kinds of "good" when it comes to videogames.
Animation
Narrative
Sounds/SFX
Music
Ai
Accessibility
Graphics
And so on. BUT, if the game itself isn't any fun to actually play (you know, the single most important point of a videogame) then it isn't good. No matter how you twist it.
