Delay incoming. That or a very rushed ending.
They didn't. Technically.
It's very obviously a timed exclusive for PS and to be released later for other systems.
The original only stayed exclusive for around a year and couple of months until the PC version hit the stores.
A lot excitement around SSD.
Yet, i feel it has more to do with optimization and not just bigger and better HW to solve their issues.
Im almost certain the PS4 still has a lot of untapped potential if the devs would spend more time developing around the HW itself instead of treating it like a PC.
The game may not be a graphical masterpiece but what matter most is how it plays.
How about something more substantial.
Where does part 1 end ?
After the Motorball boss fight or before it ? seeing as part 1 is entirely focused on midgar having it end right after you leave midgar seesm more appropriate.
How will progression be handled ? Will you be able to level up to 99 and carry over your stats for part 2 ?
Will materia be able to reach levels 2 and 3 ? or will they set up a lock for everything and unlock once a new...
Because video games.
Because sitting on your ass playing video games is not a sport.
Because playing video games is not on the same level as actual physical sports such as soccer and hockey or any other physical activity that requires you to actually get out of your DXRacer.
Sounds nice and all but how about a JRPG from Japan Studio ?
Please Sony, give them the budget and the chance to make a grand next-gen JRPG. We can't always rely on Falcom/Level-5/Namco/Square Enix to announce their next game.
Look at Nintendo and Monolith soft, can't you divert a bit of your success and funds towards Japan Studio or try to build a JRPG focused studio from ground up ?
Oh and bring back MAG please !
Yet another game struck with the online-only curse.
It's ok Ubisoft, the fans aren't actually looking forward to this.
If they do continue, it's because they're banking on new players who most likely never touched the original to support it, cuz' the actual fans sure as hell ain't.
A fool and his money are soon parted....
Yeah good idea, let's keep blue-ballling the ones looking forward to this game.
Right looks like your typical anime moeblob design. Not suprised really.
And yet the original still exists. It did not magically vanish with the announcement of this remake.
Keeping it turn based would not have prevented the articles from lambasting SE for not letting go of a 20+ year old combat system and appealing to nostalgia.
And it wont prevent so called opinion pieces when it reads far more like a sensational hit piece like "Final Fantasy is dead to me and Persona sits on its grave" designed to pull in clicks.
...
With online connection. Because the single player portion of the game clearly won't work without it right ?
Possible, but not wanted.
Why ?
Aside from a teaser trailer, we knew **** all about the game. Could have been a trainwreck in the making.
Online only. for game with solo gameplay features.
Well, that's one way to beat piracy i guess.
Having fun when i play it. That's about it.
Cause' you know, it's a video game.
The voice or the looks not being perfect is something only a die hard fan would care about.
SE should focus on what they want to do and allow Nomura to actually finish a project before pulling him away for another project.
Did the enemy behavior also get tweaked for the other difficulty modes ?
Or do i have to jump straight into Critical mode to notice the diffirence ?
"I hope for news and info blowout at this years E3 atleast. "
I prefer a hard surface, yes.
Maybe because i don't put Kojima on a pedestal ?
Maybe because since MGSV, im more wary of his involvement in video games ?
Or maybe it's easier to be sceptical and not assume everything is going to be fine. When it turns out it's fine and the game itself justifies it's current hyped up status i can stop being sceptical and if not, i won't be as dissapointed.
