Those are the kind of japanese games that I like, where everybody and everything fits the world perfectly. Yakuza has some fan-service and quirky stuff but it's all cool and the same with Bayonetta.

Now that I think about it, I think that what I'm talking about below are just japanese "rpg" cliches. XD

yeah man when you play a japanese game you can spot it right away because of its quirkiness unlike Battlefield 3 (Swedish), FEAR (Russian) or Witcher (Poland).

I do really hate how ridiculous is the game design of japanese games sometimes like for example: FFXIII-2. Noel is a metrosexual indian-dressed ninja and Serah is a Victoria Secret model in a one piece dress with some weird animal that transform into a bow. That's just not believable enough for me to not think abou...

Ar Tonelico, Disgaea, Hyperdimension Neptunia, Cross Edge, etc. just to name a few. Their games are always low budget and so niche only hardcore weaboos like them.

The graphics of this game are way overhyped, they are just plain ugly. I don't know if it's due to the destructible environments but even COD looks so much better, and on top of that? At 60fps. =/

Did you even clicked the article? And why are people calling this flamebait? Am I missing something? What's going on? Trolled by the tittle again?

The article is well-written and it states a couple of really interesting points which is pretty rare coming from a no name website.

Kinect is MS's main selling point now.

Kinect = Casual
Wii = Casual
Casual = Same Market

come on man, Square wanted FFVII on the N64 and they begged for the console to use the compact disc format but Nintendo in their most arrogant way said: NO because of loading times! Then Square started the development of the game on the PS1 and Sony even helped them publish the game for the western market.

Nintendo brought their own downfall because of their arrogance. And this new Square is the type of company that sacrifice quality for sales.

what? more feature removals?! How I'm going to re-download all the downloadable games that are on my old PS3 (broken BTW) when I buy a new one? 0 __ 0

I agree, FFvsXIII for Wii U would let more people enjoy the game and the best of all? The game wouldn't be gimped due to limited disc space.

Can't wait for FFvsXIII-2! \s

Nooooooo I don't want another gimped FF game! Goodbye to gorgeous CGI's and who knows what other stuff for the sake of fitting the game on what? 4 discs? If the game's more open then what's gonna happen, you'll need to change discs back and forth too? =/

And considering that both versions have to be equal then how is this gonna work on PS3? Are they going to divide the game in multiple chunks? Man I'm scared! What if they totally gimp the game to make ...

November is the month when I'm finally going to buy a new PS3 with Uncharted 3, Ultimate MVC3 and now KOFXIII, can't wait!!!

it was a disappointment for old fans like me but most weaboos and fan-girls loved the game and it sold quite well. =/

I always wanted to play The Last Remnant and the game was even announced as a multiplat title but then they delayed the PS3 version because of issues in the development. A few months later they just canceled it.

But I don't blame them, I played the X360 version and even that one had terrible frame-rate and low res textures everywhere... The game was a mess but gameplay looked great. I bet it was because the UE3 wasn't in Japanese? Maybe?

they can't because most of the key members left the company. Is like asking Rare to be the old Rare when the entire company is composed of only new people... Nomura and Kitase is what is left and Kitase's only a producer now so we only have one and the always mediocre Toriyama.

Square needs new talent and fast. Most of it is only working on handhelds and that's probably why there are so many good Square games there.
