I beat FFVIII at least once every year and what the author of this article is saying about Squall is all the truth. And Cloud talks and he has a personality unlike Squall where all he says is "whatever" and then changes a little by the end of the game because of some forced plot device.

Forza online is much better, that is true. If all you care about is the online then get Forza but don't expect epic updates like this one or the superior gameplay of GT5.

that's what you say now, just wait until you start playing the game and then you have a loading to open the menu and then another one when exit it. It's freaking annoying as hell and that's just the beginning... Each battle has a loading at the beginning and another one at the end. The game's a mess...
Why are people approving this when it's obvious that the tittle is wrong? Crytek is talking about consoles in general not just the PS3...

I don't think the loadings were due to the disc because the japanese version was just as fast as the Snes version while FFIV was plagued with loading. But for the western release it was Chrono Trigger the one plagued with loadings while FFVI was lightning fast.

I completely agree with this.
Now they are giving us emulation for 10 dollars each... If Odin Sphere is emulated to play on PS3 then why can't I just play it from the copy that I already own? Is not like they are adding stuff to it, it's just emulation! Can't they just sell us the profile for like 2-3 bucks or something? Of course not, that is not business! =/
In an emulator it only takes a couple of clicks to add some AA and raise the resolution and frame-rate you know.
FFVII is one of the best games I have ever played and I jut beat it for the first time last year. You should play it... Seriously. And yeah, Legend of Dragoon is mediocre at best.
Battle system of LoD is just an archaic turn based battle system even by SNES standards with a tacky timing based button press that is as useless as this gen QTE's. The game was literally a corridor without anything else to do beside the main story just like FFXIII. The story was total garbage, ...
If the PS3 has no BC then how the console is gonna play these games? Did they modified the code or is just Sony trying to rip us off? Something's very fishy here. I mean, if the games are gonna run natively on the console (not emulation) then why they can't increase the resolution and add some AA to these releases?
