This is no pre-quel, this is called: "damage control". lol
At $250 I don't see it selling that well even if the handheld itself is worth every penny. And if the sales aren't good then the 3rd party's are going to abandon it and we'll see many articles with the same tittle on N4G: "Vita is teh Doomed!", "Vita haz no gamez!".
All GC consoles can display 480p because that is its native resolution and Nintendo can't change that because then all the old games wouldn't work. What they did was to remove the connector to reduce production costs.
The problem was that Nintendo didn't see the demand for the component cables and then they proceed to removed them from the market. Now these cables are pretty rare and are being sold for like $100 used.

Have you seen a PS2 slim?
that's the strong point of the OLED. While the screen has much higher contrast and better color accuracy than any HDTV on the market right now, it doesn't use as much energy. OLED is expensive but superior to LCD and Plasma in every imaginable way...
People always say that Sony only copies but now they are at the front of innovation with the PS Vita and nobody says anything! But if it were Nintendo everybody would be jumping on the bandwagon: "OMGz Nintendo'z...
RAM/Random Access Memory = you can't store anything in it because as soon as you turn off the device it wipes off any data.
Rom/Read Only Memory = that's the kind of memory where you can save data and is gonna be stored there even after you turned off the device. i.e. HDD's, Flash-Drives, Discs, etc.
Dude this is very common stuff you know, how come you don't know this?
FFXIII was pretty much fail even if it had a different name. In fact, I believe that with a different name its review scores and sales would have been much worse.
And why people say that only the first half of the game was linear? The game went like this:
"20 hours of tutorial and corridors ---> much bigger but still an empty field with just some monsters and low res textures everywhere ---> back to the same linearity until you kill Orphan and the...
(┛◉Д◉)┛ Uncharted 3 GOTY 2011 Confirmed!
Deus Ex looks like a Mass Effect rip-off but still cool. Not better than Uncharted though...
but it wasn't his fault that the movie turned out bad. In fact, Kilmer didn't even want to make the movie when he learned that they changed the director but he was already too involved with the project to pull back. But as soon as the movie was done he refused to appear on the sequel.
OMG, 6 months with no new cards! how can you do this to me Nvidia! (ಠ_ಠ)
I think the answer is really obvious. The PS3 has really bad memory allocation and on top of that the OS memory footprint is still way too huge... The PS3 simply wasn't designed to do stuff like that. Period.
And it's true that Sony has been aggressively reducing the memory footprint of the OS with each update but now we have 3D games so you can kiss goodbye the cross-game chat because is not gonna happen.
The game looks like: OMG, OMG, OMG! Jizz... in... my pants.
people are stupid. Guys like @Fishy Fingers say stuff like that because they never were fans of the series so a reboot is nothing to them, is like, "wow a new game let's try it out!" and that was it.
The reason for the reboot is because DMC4 "only" sold 3 millions (it was only the beginning of this gen!) but I bet this reboot is gonna sell even worse even with the bigger install base. But then we had the purists/1337s like @GamersRulz, basically the lo...
bu but but, nooooooo!
I found weird that Ninja Gaiden 3 was reduced to a button masher and now I understand why. Very sad news to all the Ninja Gaiden fans.
I'm starting to believe that Japanese devs are on a mission. A mission to annihilate all my favorite franchises; FF, DMC, MM and now NG too. (ノಥ益ಥ)ノ
dude, the PS2 is the best selling console in the entire history of video games. You know that right? Not even the DS that sold like hotcakes could surpass it.
An article about the most influential consoles and he didn't even mentions the one that started it all, the Magnavox Odyssey. That was the console that showed that console gaming was a viable market... Thanks to it is that console gaming exist.
FF games are basically the pinnacle of Jrpg's (or at least they used to be), that's my reason. And to be honest, you can start on FFIV because the first 3 doesn't even have a story and are so archaic they are unplayable.
In my opinion the best are FFIV, FFVI, FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX and FFX. FFIX and FFX are very noob friendly, so these 2 are a good start for beginners and FFVII is the best but the graphics aged the worst. That's why people want this game to be re...
Go and fail all your tests, Uncharted 3's worth it do not listen to these trolls!
