nintendo are traditionally well known for being innovative.
the wiiu was never innovative though. it is a generation behind tech wise, and the biggest selling point- its controller, is not actually much use... just an expensive hindrance.
nintendo turned from being innovative, to being gimmicky.
sure the wii was actually innovative, but nintendo got complacent and thought the consumer would blind buy wiius.
obviously, as ...
it seems nintendo died with yamauchi
exactly, people aare just hoping it will take off after those games are released.
why didnt it take off after mario 3d world? or pikmin?
lol its dead
its an article giving a counter argument to all the bad press.
hardly good news
alcohol?
...
EVERY single news article on n4g and the entire internet related to the wiiu is bad news. there is no success story. the wiiu is a failure.
the only people who think otherwise are the poor few who actually own wiius.
its not even a downhill slope for the wiiu now, its a vertical drop, heck, its a free fall!
its just going to get worse and worse. fans might only wake up to the extent of this failure when mario kart and smash bros flop.
nobody buys a console for winter olympics. sonic lost world is a critical failure etc etc
there are minimal exclusive AAA games on wiiu.
@kalebninja
the ps4 and x1 have something that wiiu doesnt- prospects.
those consoles have games on the horizon, and beyond. people can count on that.
the wiius future is uncertain. there are (again) a minimal number of games coming, and those games only appeal to a certain...
muhahahahaa
i got a refund on all my lost bubbles :)
the wiius problem is not just its price, its the library of games it has... or rather, doesnt have.
even with that bundle, you will really only have two more games worth buy after- pikmin and mario 3d world. the consumer knows this, so even at that price, the console isnt worth it because it doesnt have the catalogue of games needed to make it a worthwhile purchase.
it just wouldnt be worth it
if i were a wiiu owner id want a refund on the console, not just the game
in the original resident evil, death was literally one room away.. If you didn't use ammo extremely wisely, it could be the death of you.
now you can run around spraying your uzi until your hearts content, and this 6 player co-op news shows you will have an army of people on your side helping you.
not much survival or horror in that.
i dont know what this game is, but this game is not resident evil
nintendo haven't even announced anything
how do you know what nintendo have planned though? everyone knows what nintendo showed last year was just a concept. the specs might be different this year.
everyone knows nintendo made a mess of the announcement last year, so you know they will be making a good job of it this year.
They might further ruin sony/microsofts chance by announcing a release date that is even closer than everyone expected. they might blow everyone away with third party exclusives...
if the tech is there then it will be common for games next gen to have a high polygon count. announcing your game will have a million polys for characters is putting emphasis on graphics, rather than announcing an exciting GAME idea.
better graphics doesnt equal better games.
They are taking the series in the wrong direction. They need to go back to basics. They need to make it scary and atmospheric again. Now it seems they are putting the emphasis on action and fast pace. Its slowly turning into the movie franchise.
i dont care about this game, its not resident evil anymore. i'l just wait for the last of us.
its not like they would say 'we have a mediocre, run of the mill console project in the works... i doubt anyone will like it''
its their job to hype up their projects
i hope nintendo have re-designed the entire look of the console by e3 2012, because it looks rubbish at the moment.
They need major 3rd party support. They can't rely on a few 2nd part devs like retro, i mean, remember rare? They need all the multiplatform games, and exclusives from 3rd parties, not just in-house.
they need to redesign the entire thing... from scratch. then i will be interested.
until then, it really will just stick in my mind as a banal, cheap looking piece of hardware. it looks almost identical to the wii. wiis console design didnt look bad in 2008, but its 2012 now. im sick of the sight of the wii.
and the controller looks horrid. they need to streamline the design. at the moment it looks as beautiful as a house brick. it looks plastic. it looks...
i like n4g because it collects articles from all over the net. so you get a general view of whats going on.
but yes, im well aware this site is very bias and all the fans are at war with one another lol
i know i get disagrees and bubbled down, but im not trolling. im just saying my honest opinion on what i see happening with wiiu. if that leaves me with 2 bubbles, then so be it.
