The thing that the Wii has highlighted about gaming (in the current generation,) is that the way we play games have changed. Most people don't want to sit down for hours in front of a tv letting a game sap away hour after hour of your precious time. That is why Wii sports was so popular, you didn't have to sacrifice your life to play it and have fun.
A gaming experience that fits into our current hectic lives (and involving family) is what has defined this generation- not devotin...
I've never counted on them to make mature games anyway.
They are not well known for producing mature games.
When have they ever produced a 'mature' game anyway? And by 'mature' i mean in the sex and violence sense... never.
I didn't buy a Wii to play games with 'adult' content, or to be sworn at by some punk ass school boy from the other side off the earth online.
Its stating the obvious for Nintendo to say they don't enjoy making mature gam...
Does he regard his game or ps3 users so highly that he thinks its beyond us wii owners?
If his game is as pretentious as he is then maybe its best i gave it a miss anyway.
Its revolutionary.
Maybe it will take another 20 years of hindsight to realize that, but it is outstanding.
All controllers will take the Wiimotes form in the future (see MOVE and NATAL.)
Its bound to happen, its not going to be good.
The graphics look good, although the photo-realistic clouds in the background look horrible.
FAIL #1- Download only
FAIL #2- Episodic content
I wonder what other innovative ideas SEGA have planned to further ruin the potential of this game.
Sony thinks the answer to everything is more.
More processing power
More polygons
More buttons on controllers
More Definition in graphics
Sony watch watch people do, then think how they can do more to it.
Its like a movie sequal, just the same again but more of it... It doesn't necessarily make it better.
I don't think Nintendo has to worry about Natal, Microsoft have blown it with that one.
But is getting critical acclaim and praise. A bit strange... Is it good or bad!?
Reviewers seem to be sitting on the fence, which isn't good. If it was a great game they would give it scores to reflect that.
I think i will buy it anyway because it looks original
Not what i was expecting but i am excited never the less.
I wonder if these are concept artworks? The images look like screens from a point and click style game, unless polygonal characters run around rendered backgrounds (like the early Resident Evil games.)
It does look good though, i like the setting.
*excited*
What a stupid, thoughtless response. Wii gamers don't just want motion gaming in HD, they want to play the games that will only appear on a Nintendo console in HD- like Zelda and Metroid etc.
Those games are the main reason they buy a Nintendo console, so to say 'why dont they buy a MOVE, it would be suited to them' is really short sited and frankly ignorant. It shows you have no idea about Nintendo fans and what they want, it also shows you dont value the worth of Nintendo game...
It will be defeated by wii, its not even in the same league- its merely a software package.
I have lost the message now, it can't be retrieved.
I do agree about wii motion plus being completely unacknowledged by Sony fans, a lot talk about MOVE being the first 1:1 motion control... Hello, wiimotion plus has been out for months.
It is completely useless arguing or even joking with these people, they have no sense of humour, so how can i expect them to have a sense of reason?
Basically, in short, wii has done it all before and go little to no ...
''A Pointless bulb????that bulb is there for the camera to track the motion you twat''
Yes, pointless bulb, they should have designed it in another way, it looks hideous. It looks comical, like a piece of really bad concept art. The funniest thing is its not concept art- its the real thing. Simply hilarious, in a tragic way. Whoever designed that should be fired immediately!
''it lights up so you can play it in darkness.''
Play in darkness?? Where do yo...
damn
Its obvious.
MOVE- Rips off everything the wii debuted.
MOVE- Shamelessly copies the wiimotes design.
MOVE- Has a pointless bulb on the top that lights up- a desperate attempt to cover up the fact its completely copying the wiimote.
MOVE- The new love of all gamers who prior to its announcement wrote motion gaming off as a fad.
MOVE- Has revealed the hypocrisy in Sony fans.
MOVE- Selling to a market already complet...
Ah its so good knowing i touched a nerve, i moved you enough to want to have my opinion removed so nobody could see it.
I don't care what you say, everybody has a right to an opinion, to bad im right and you are wrong. Now run along and save up your pennies, you will need a lot of them to play that over-priced rip-off abomination that is MOVE.
:)
Basically, you thought motion control sucked until sony unveiled theirs. Now MOVE is on the scene, all-of-a-sudden sony fans the world over have seen the light an accept there is potential in motion gaming.
Its pathetic, you should be ashamed of yourselves for being so ignorant.
To be honest i don't really like the look of Red Steel 2 either, but yes it does look like a massive improvement over the original.
I just don't think High Voltage have what it takes, they haven't shown me anything that fills me with confidence in them.
The Grinder does look promising though.
I like the sound and look of it, i will be buying it. If the game gets lots of below average scores i may change my mind though.
at least it leaves me to play all the other games im buried under at the moment
