Without Playstation there wouldn't be an Xbox and without Playstation we most likely wouldn't have games that are comparable or even surpass film.

I personally think Halo and Half-Life are the two best FPS's to ever happen. Both were very revolutionary in their own right. Both universes are among some of the most interesting in overall entertainment.

Damn it I hit disagree by accident but yeah I'm the same way. I have more memories with Halo than any game, movie, etc.
It's one magical franchise that I'm happy I got the privledge to grow up with.

"Noticeably better" is subjective but I do highly recommend getting an Xbox One. I'd wait a few more weeks when the hot deals and nice bundles hit stores so you save yourself some money.
If you're already interested in getting one then go for it. Don't listen to biased media and what not. It's a great next-gen console.

It sucks when these classic franchises that were renowned years ago are being revived into something they're not. Wildlands at E3 looked really cool but judging by how this generation functions it probably won't look or play anything like that.
The original Ghost Recon for Xbox and GRAW 1 and 2 were so good. Not sure how I feel with everything going open-world though.
Even if only 2000 people own an Xbox One in Japan it's still 2000 consoles to support. You don't just sell people bricks. Is it a viable market? No not currently but I give MS credit for still acknowledging the slim market there.
Although my gut tells me they won't, the possibility of it sucks because I grew up with the Chief (figuratively of course) and I basically looked to him as my personal superhero if that makes sense.
