This.
I never understood why the best selling is the declared overall "best" when most products in the electronic department have a particular product that will sell a dump load and others that provide competition but may not sell the same.
I mean iPhones sell more than the Galaxy and the Galaxy is still very successful.
Anyway, if you have the money get all the consoles. Being able to switch from Xbox One to PS4 is the best decisio...
Been waiting for BC3 since 2010. BF3 didn't really do it for me and I can count on my hand the amount of games I've played of BF4. Bad Company 2 is tied with CoD 4 for favorite military oriented shooter of last gen.
If the next Battlefield is sci-fi like CoD sci-fi then I'm most likely not buying.
Remember the BC2 mission that was in WW2? What a wasted opportunity.
I'm not particularly a Star Wars fan in general but enjoyed the games like Battlefront 1 and 2 and KOTOR. With that said, Battlefront EA (good name by Angry Joe) feels like a $60+ tech demo. Where did everything in the previous games go? Why are vehicles essentially on map weapon pickups like something out of Quake? Why is the aim assist so blatant that it makes Call of Duty feel like a hardcore shooter?
The game itself is so watered down it's not even funny and yet E...
And you are 100% in line with me. CDPR are the most morally correct AAA devs right now in my opinion and they should receive the limelight for that along with releasing one of the best games ever made.
OT: The Witcher 3 for me hands down. I love Fallout but The Witcher 3 deserves it. CDPR deserves their moment.
If they make a system akin to an Xbox or Playstation with achievements, a focus on the social aspect of gaming and a robust online component then I will buy my first Nintendo console since the Gamecube. Oh and don't forget a new Metroid Prime too.
EA better not f*ck up Titanfall 2 and Mass Effect Andromeda. The only two EA games I'm looking forward to and if they pull a Battlefront with either of those I'll be so pissed.
I think Naughty Dog gets that MP can be simplistic yet fun but they also tarnish their own games with the use of excess MT/DLC that can essentially be Pay2Win since the guns or whatever that cost real money have an advantage.
All in all I loved TLOU MP more than I thought I would and everyone always talks about Uncharted 2 having great MP before a specific patch (I was late into the Uncharted craze) so I think they definitely know how to craft a solid multiplayer component.....
Well I mean with no multiplayer and having just enough content to warrant maybe 2 playthroughs, DLC coming out sooner rather than later would be better since the game is relatively fresh still.
Bethesda has always featured awesome side-quests even back in Morrowind.
But I think The Witcher 3 set the benchmark for side-quests. Most of the time I thought it was part of the main quest since they were so detailed and received the same amount of love as the main.
I still think 2007-2008 were some of Xbox's strongest years. Between the two you had Halo 3, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Crackdown, Gears of War 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Fable 2, Too Human, Lost Odyssey, Forza 2, and PGR4.
2015 to me wasn't THE best but one of the best in a while. 2016 looks to be even better given the variety within the year and finally there seems to be exclusives from start to end in 2016.
I want to believe he's announcing something new but since MGSV is nominated for several awards, he's probably there to support his game and team.
I think if he attends PSX then that would be very interesting.
Skillet...Nu-Metal? No hahaha. Nu-Metal is Korn, Slipknot, Kittie, Nonpoint, Deftones, etc. Skillet is butt rock.
Jesus, makes it hurt knowing I paid $950 between my Xbox One and PS4 (+ TLOU:R) when I could've waited until either last years holiday season or this years and saved a ton of money.
If you're still on 360 and PS3, go treat yourself to an X1 or PS4...deals don't get any better than this.
Ghost Recon 1 and Rainbow Six Black Arrow were two staples of my time with the original Xbox. It's sad to see these once great franchises be buried because of current BS trends in gaming. The new Ghost Recon is only GR in name and R6 Siege just doesn't capture the essence of classic Rainbow Six games.
Ubisoft has sunken to an all time low where I can't even pick a game of theirs I currently enjoy anymore. Curious on how they'll manage to destroy Splinter Cell ...
I really want a proper Thief game. Deadly Shadows was so much fun back in the day and the new one felt like a dumbed down Dishonored. Shame too since we rarely get a great stealth game that isn't MGS.
Judging from the GIFs it doesn't give a God of War vibe. From the colors it makes me think sci-fi esque which I'm always down for. We'll see this weekend.
Really excited for this game.
I hope for ReCore as well and a glimpse at Gears 4 MP since the beta kicks off in the Spring.
I wonder if Microsoft has any new IP being shown off at TGA? Would be cool.
Still hoping they announce Titanfall 2 there.
Of course they do and that's not to say they're bad games, I mean I'm a huge Halo fanboy but it's awesome to see more diversity charting with the usual big guns.
I just know I'm excited as hell for the show. I always loved the atmosphere of Playstation conferences even when I didn't own one. Here's hoping for some awesome game reveals.
