It may be an achievement that it has beaten the home consoles, but i bet most people who would have purchased a PS3 / 360 are holding out for the PS4 and X1, so expect the same sales figures for the next couple of months
Tell that to the millions, including myself, who have pre-ordered it, and the other millions who will buy it without pre-ordering it...

I respect your opinion, but if you have the desktop version of Windows 8 i have to disagree with you there, Windows 8 is horrible to use, even worse than Vista...
It's made for tablets and smartphones, why they tried to crowbar into a desktop is something i just do not understand...

I never bought this when it originally came out, then got scammed by Cash Converters trying to buy it second hand (The case said VR Missions, got it home and the discs were for original MGS.......)
Might have to buy this later on and celebrate the 15th Anniversary some more, as i'm currently replaying MGS1 for the nostalgia :)
Maybe the stupid business decisions might stop now (i'm looking at you, terrible remake of DMC and Nintendo exclusivity of Monster Hunter!) and they can focus on what they were meant to do, provide the games that their customers are after and keep the fanbase happy!

Correct me if i'm wrong, but don't the 360s DVDS only hold 8gb of data? So that would mean it would install the whole game onto the HDD? I wonder if it's the same with the PS3 if that's the case?
Doesn't matter to me though, i've got about 50gb free on my 320gb HDD, my PS3 can take the 8gb :)

GTA5 and GT6 for me, then once i've finished those i'll be getting into the next-gen with PS4, so early part of next year for me :)
PS3 version please Sega!! We want the localised version too!! (technically we should have got it first, Yakuza/Ryuu ga Gotoku IS a Playstation franchise after all....)
