I have a library of games from many different systems and like to revisit them. How will this pricing model work for games in the future? Will people be able to revisit a game years after purchase?
I look at my bookcase, at anytime I can pull one out and enjoy. I don't think DD and pricing per the hour will be a hit for most people who like to have a physical games collection. There's no substituting that.
Yeah WoW is another example of this.
I think it's ridiculous, but I guess if people are willing to pay then so be it.
It's just a fully realized version of XBOX Live.
Of course you'll have defenders of this service saying crap like, "You get what you pay for..." and other such nonsense.
To them, I offer more lube and knee pads. Have fun with that!
lol good one
Just kidding ;)
That guy is a real winner
I can't think of any other game this year that had as much going for it than MGS4 did,
Good:
Story
Graphics
Sound
Characters
Art style
Gameplay
Soundtrack
Sound (5.1 uncompressed!)
Online mode (not necessary but nice bonus)
It really is the complete package.
Kudos to Kojimasan and his team for all their hard work.
The final product shows a lot of love and care went into this one....
so quit rubbing it in! XD jk
Now go to the principals office.
Is that consumers will take it with the right amount of lube.
I swear, I just don't understand how some of these people keep coming back to it when they know what's going to happen sooner than later.
Shameless masochism, battered wife syndrome, what is this?
This is a big change from that last video with the boring combat.
Nice combos.
Back to first day purchase for me :D

He's the General Manager of XBOX Japan division
I mean really... who else's room could that be!? ;)
Really looking forward to this one.
Yeah I'm really liking the direction Versus' style is going with. I can't wait to see how that story unfolds.
@ Why o why
Don't get me wrong. It's still on my radar. Afterall I enjoy JRPG's for all the elements not just combat. If everything else is cool. I'm getting it, but the combat part so far is disappointing to me that's all.
That game deserves way more sales than it's gotten.
Ash, same here. I have high hopes for Versus (and FFXIII but more so with Versus).
Raimon Taro knows what I'm talking about. I didn't like FFXII either. (I liked all FF's from 10 down)
Tales series is fun
/agrees
I guess I'm just old school.
I liked the flashy special moves and finishing moves, cinematics and all that from older JRPG's.
To me, spamming the X button is boring. It's faster but so what? I don't see how faster equates to more exciting.
But like you said, everyone has personal preference so there's no right or wrong.
I guess the kind of JRPG's I grew up with and like are a dying breed now.
Well said. I totally agree.
My fear though is if Japanese devs are going to imitate Western devs, then the market will be saturated with FPS' and games like that.
So that I'm not mistaken, I'm not saying "Death to FPS!", not at all, but if that's what most of the games will be like then I think gamers in general will suffer for the lack of variety.
