The difference here is that like Greenberg said, this will just be a blip for 360 sales then settle back down.
PS3 sales on the other hand will never go back to pre-slim release sales. They are on a higher plane now and will maintain that.
Remember, the PS3 for most of 2008 was out selling the 360 until M$ dropped the price.
The PS3 is now in a price bracket that's out of the hard core category and into the mainstream. With all the features built i...
I think M$ is downplaying their $100 price cut because it did little to offset PS3 sales.
It's Natal or bust from here on out.
I'll definitely be buying this.
Well now that we're seeing a lot of the these "safe" reviews coming out with 9's (which is BS and everyone know it), I really do hope it sells well.
It will send a message loud and clear to all developers that you can get away with this sort of thing. Why bother making full games anymore? DLC for full price is perfectly acceptable to bots and you know what? If this is what you accept from game developers, they will gladly give it to you. Don't come crying later when q...
The power of "Halo" was too much for them to do an honest review.
Girl owns a PS3. She has to move out of her apartment and for whatever reason is compelled to buy a 360. Later she goes to a cafe and meets a waiter who also owns one. They exchange GT's and the rest is just her yapping about stuff that has nothing to do with anything.

I'm convinced the 360 is an idiot magnet.
Bubble for you Timesplitter for GTO. One of the best! I should know ;)
Hell to the f@cking YES! This game I've been waiting for forever. Thank you Sega!
You're still welcome regardless. Don't let the site scare you it's all fun and games.
I agree with this review.
Here's how some previous titles did on their first day:
Tales of Vesperia (PS3): 147,000
Radiant Mythology 2: 135,000
Tales of Hearts: 121,000
Tales of Symphonia Dawn of The New World: 120,00
Tales of VS: 89,000
Tales of Innocence: 76,000
Tales of Vesperia (Xbox 360): 71,000
Welcome new PS3 gamers! You picked a great game to include in your ever growing library of stellar titles. When the masterpiece Metal Gear Solid 4 was originally released, it was a great value then at $60. Now at the reduced price, all PS3 owners have no excuse not to play this instant classic that will sit proudly in your library for years to come. I promise. Enjoy and once again, welcome to the PS3 family.
MGOelite you da man.
You make very good points. This review is basically saying, "well because it's Halo it automatically gets a +2".
Gimme a f@cking break.
Halo isn't a symbol of America.
It is simply a reminder that marketing > all.

Nice list but I'm never going to that website again. What a cheap grab for hits that place is.
oh well you tried...
The Halo franchise has always been surrounded in mediocrity but never the scores to go with it. It's refreshing to see the gaming world waking up to this fact.
This controller embodies the classiness and discerning taste of 360 gamers everywhere.
