Such a lovely game - I'm glad it did well. Means we might see more of NamcoBandai's jrpgs : )
When I hit old age I intend to play all the JRPGs and MMO's I never had the chance to play when I was younger... maybe... :/
I would definitely pay money upfront for this. I think it's the only kickstarter that'd I'd bother supporting...
This, and for Phantasy Star V made by Reiko Kodama and Yuji Naka! ; )
It's probably the one question he gets asked the most. I'm surprised he doesn't totally rage every time someone mentions it! ;)
Ah, I see - then I guess an apology is in order. *comment humbly retracted!* *blush*
How can the PS4 'knock it out of the park' when Microsoft's console hasn't even been unveiled yet?
I think it might be a little bit early to pass judgement yet... :/
Nothing would please me more than to see this finished. Maybe they should do an HD remake of the first two, to gauge how much interest there would really be in a third?
Exactly how you'd tackle that third game would be very difficult - not least because fans would be so hard to please. Myself being one of them!
That's pretty much all I cover, so look out for my posts! :)
This is just... crazy...
What a great ide- er... wait, hang on... wasn't that ALWAYS the point of Killzone anyway?! Which makes the point of this article kinda... silly.
I like this mix of games in this... I'd love to see Onimusha again. Another PaRappa would be amazing.
Nice to see someone address this topic, actually.
Few people give credence to just how powerful retail is in the success of a game. If a buyer at some retailer doesn't like or believe in a product, they have the power to make it dead on arrival.
In this respect I'm a big fan of Digital Sales- because it removes this issue. Retailers have too much power in deciding which games are 'worthy' and that's often unfair and misguided...
I've enjoyed Backward Compatability on both 360 and PS3. So much of the stuff I've bought as downloadable games have been retro remakes and re-releases.
b/c always seems like such a small thing - but it's really important to me...
The issue with WiiU is Nintendo's inability to communicate it's core difference and value elegantly.
As a result - the only hope it has now is in delivering first-party product, so exceptional that people jump on board.
It's crucial Nintendo deliver at E3.
This is going to be so awesome. 3DS is really starting to carve out reputation for itself- with a nice library of games.
Love these kinds of extra trial-style missions in games - great way of testing your skill in a more pure environment. I really enjoyed Mirror's Edge - trial stages. Great fun.
I do get the feeling that, having played their hand early, and not exactly blown people away, it does leave the door open for Microsoft to deliver a better announcement.
If I was MS, I'd read every single negative comment about the PS4 announcement, and then make damn sure I didn't make the same 'mistake' and do my utmost to try to counter those points...
By the looks of it, backwards compatibility will basically involve - stream or download old games for a price.
Being specific to 'packaged' suggests - the games ou've already bought physical copies of won't work.
Perhaps if you have they'll offer a discount on those titles - Vita style...
Gourmet race is legendary!
The Call of Duty one did make me chuckle! :)
