Yeah, a flat top console would be great! I hate how my controllers just slide off my PS3.

And when you have an NES, SNES, N64, Wii, Master System, Dreamcast, PS2, and a PS3, space and stackability is of the essence!

This was honestly the best game I have ever played. It is so fine tuned, and polished. I am glad you guys finally got it.

Nearly every game with moral decisions claims to be a "constant dilemma" of one kind or another. More often or not, the choices have no bearing on the outcome of the game.

Looks like SOMEONE didn't pay their review dues...

How many times have a I heard that one... Oh well. Maybe this time it's true. My vita needs a new reason to be played, so why not.

It isn't about capitalism, it isn't about freedom. It is about unethical business practices. Monopolies controlling you wallet. You want freedom? Adobe has your freedom on lockdown.

I for one, think this is a fantastic turn of events!

I am guessing MM are tired of LBP and everything that comes with it. I think their next move would be a new fighting IP that they can polish more than Ragdoll Kung Fu because they have the assets to do so now. That is just my guess.

Now, I'm going to have to disagree with you, because I think it is deeper than that. If someone plays tetris or whatever casually, then that is fine, they are a casual gamer who really doesn't need to be considered a hardcore gamer. But there are men and women out there who play things like Tetris, Zelda, Mario and stuff like that very seriously. Call of Duty kiddies, and people like that are "seasonal gamers" as in they only play seasonal titles. I would consider them casua...

I want to say something rude, but you are right. Little Big Planet is very casual on the surface. It is really a deep and "hardcore" faux-dev kit in its guts though. Wish more people would use it accordingly.

I am guessing it is either a new fighting game, or a more open dev kit style game like LBP.

Oh boy. Look, we are a niche culture of people who have a niche hobby. Historically, gamers, comic book nerds, and geeks of all kinds have been shunned, ostracized, and bullied by these types of people. I don't care who plays games, or who tries to become a gamer. But there is one prerequisite... And that is playing games. Not just using them as a fashion accessory, and not just gnawing on controllers to impress boys.

I bought my vita exclusively for LBPV... Then I got a bunch of other fantastic stuff for it :)

Personally, I think the combat is flawless for the game it is in (once you get used to using the triggers for menus) but I do have a beef with the graphics. In hind sight, it was a bad idea to use cel shading. They should have gone with more traditional shading, and a painted look, and the Ghibli style would have shined!

Nintendo will live. Even if the Wii U turns out to be a turd, Nintendo always pulls through. I'm no fan boy, but it is clear as day that nothing will ever TRULY stop Nintendo. They may just have to sit this one out worst case.

"Nintendo is doomed" seems an oxymoron to me.

I agree. I don't care who becomes a gamer, and I am open to anyone who wants to start gaming, but you can't just enter a niche culture on day one and expect to be "one of the guys" especially if you were one of the people who ostracized gamers in the first place, before it was a trend to be a "nerd"

No being exclusionary. Just being sensible.

Seriously. More challenging combat, puzzles, more challenge over all.

All though, I would call Zelda more of a CPG than a straight up Action Adventure.

I actually wrote a blog about this myself last week in varying shades of the same opinion as you, but I put it more harshly. YOU are a real gamer. I have no doubt of that. But there are people out there that use gaming as a fashion accessory, like the "gamr grls" who spend more time eating their peripherals than they do playing games. There are also the "seasonal gamers" as I call them. People than get a new Madden, Fifa, Call of Duty, or other seasonal game every year and...

Steam isn't putting anything at risk but my wallet. There is little recent history or culture of used PC games sales, however, console games traditionally get passed along. It is a console that would block used games that would put (console) gaming at risk. Steam is a great platform, and better than any other DRM out there.

Really? I get like 20-30 people on SP every time I go out, and I have gotten maybe 5 on Near in the lifetime of my Vita. I guess it is just a regional thing.
