If I am not mistaken... Gen 1&2 were both Gameboy Cartridges and only Crystal was a GBC cart.
A new 2.5D Ghouls N Ghosts would be just the thing to get me interested in Crapcom again.
As a collector, and a gamer in general, I have avoided Xbox like the plague. Buy quality. Buy Japanese.
Fatal Frame
Shin Megami Tensei (the best entries)
Dark Cloud
Devil May Cry (Groovy)
Some SNES fans might disagree, but I will say one thing... It was and is a juggernaut. Definitely had the most active lifespan, and it's library tends to agree with you.
Oh my god I am hype. This never happens to me, but god dammit I have boarded the hype train!
No prob. It is likely going to be a resistive touch device with audible clicks and/or haptic feedback like when you text on a touch screen. Look for it being used in RPGs, Sims, and other games that have deeper, more advanced control schemes. I can see it being used to navigate menus and while the Dpad performs actions like the buttons do now.
Does this have anything to do with Marathon Durandal? That game was the shit!
It isn't a touch screen. It is a touch panel like the back of the vita.
I would like to see Max Factory and GSC do a Figma line of MGS figures. The quality is unmatched, though they mostly do female figures.
Who? Atari? You mean the company that filed for bankruptcy a few weeks ago? Yeah. They are still kickin around.
Not a fan of the ab crunch on Liquid, but other than that, it looks great. Would pay $50 for it.
Lon'Qu confirmed for OP broken fighter that crits Gigabowser in 1 hit.
Well, reports sat that it is "clicky" so we can assume it has either a physical "click" or provides haptic feedback to the user.
If this is true, I think it is going to essentially work like a second D-pad that has 4 directions and a click. It would be used mainly for advanced menu navigation or to give specific inputs for individual games.
Looks too much like PS+ which is already a thing.
Actually, I would say that while not "losing" the crown, GTA is slipping slowly. GTA IV was quite a disappointment after how great GTA: SA was.
And with games like Saint's Row 3, and Sleeping Dogs, Rockstar has to really step up or GTA could really lose it's spot as number 1.
Nintendo is a sleeping giant. Their handheld sales can keep them afloat, even if the WiiU is a turd. There is so much doom and gloom in articles about Nintendo's future, even the positive ones. People forget that Nintendo IS gaming. Nintendo IS consoles. Nintendo IS the industry.
I am saying this as a primarily Sony console player: "Nintendo will never die"
The touch plate can potentially add a lot of new inputs. 5 at the least, when you just consider the 4 corners and the center. This adds potential for games with more complex set ups, like RPGs, strategy games, and simulations.
Hopefully this feature can attract as many RPGs, Sims, and niche titles as the PS2 did, and Sony can make a brilliant return to those days.
If last guardian is a launch title, I guess I am an early adopter YET AGAIN. :(
PS2 hands down. In my opinion, and I wont play favorites, but it is an EQUAL with the SNES for greatest console of all time.
Thousands of games, solid, dependable hardware, and the best controller on earth, Dual Shock 2. Can't ask for much more.
