This is honestly the best game I have ever played. I am glad that it is out in EU now so my overseas bros can have as much fun as I have.
GG, come on. It is far more accurate than analog sticks. You just aren't used to it.
BTW, this is poorjack from LBP central. How's it going!?
I was saying that to be funny. But honestly, Playstation Network coupled with PS+ is the way to go.Micro$oft is living in the past, and if they think that charging a monthly subscription fee for what other companies give away for free is a good idea, then they get all that is coming to them.
Looks neat. I was hoping for some Marathon stuff, but this looks just as good.
Xbox live is a chump. PS+ is the cool guy.
Spread the word. Say it like I said above. Word for word. Soon, everyone will know what goes where.
I played the Witcher 2 on GaiKai shortly before it was shut down for Sony business... And yeah, it obviously had some compression going on, but it still looked gorgeous.
It's 2013 for cryin out loud! Didn't you know bloggers are journalists now? Bloggin is srs business. ;)
Xbox Infinity is a good title actually. Too bad this rumor is 99% for sure false.
I should have worded it better.
It is a touch panel like what is on the Vita, rather than a screen like most people seem to believe. It will most likely be resistive, because reports indicate it is "clicky" physically. This might indicate a resistive panel, or it might indicate haptic feedback.
It is a resistive touch panel like what is on the back of the vita. If you look into the design a bit deeper, you will see the pad opens up a brand new way of controlling on a deeper level. For one thing, it offers at the minimum, 5 new inputs not available on the DS3 (NE,SE,SW,NW, and center) and this opens up a lot of control possibilities for games like RPGs, tecnical sims, and other games with advanced controls. It may be the thing that puts the PS4 ahead of PS2 in terms of JRPG support
Hardware doesn't matter as long as it's solid, and I don't really give a shit about graphics.
In fact, nobody should really. It is called video gaming, not video pretty effects. The important part of gaming is the games. That is what made the SNES and the PS2 so special. Not the hardware. The SNES had inferior hardware to the Genesis in every way, and look how well that helped Sega. The PS2, again, inferior to the Dreamcast. It isn't about power. It is about f...
While the earlier quote from Gabe Newell is insightful, you have to also take into account that Valve is a company that releases a high quality game every few years with an immense amount of polish, and just filled to the brim with innovation and creativity.
I buy good games. I don't think that Activision or EA deserve any of the money they get from consumers. I honestly wish that every EA-Activision consumer was a tech savvy pirate. If they were, EA and Acti would be ou...
This is the line of thinking that is going to tank the industry.
It is enabling EA and the great Satan himself (see Bobby Kotick) to take your money, repossess your games, and charge you for things you don't want.
I know this comment may garner some hate, but I am out of speech bubbles for this thread.

I wouldn't even necessarily say they are the most expensive to create. Once a game breaks even in sales, everything is (mostly) pure profit. It is the same in books and movies, yet a book, in and of itself, costs much more than the $0.25 disc and leaflet included in your $60 game.
Games cost more to develop, but they are piss-cheap to produce.
Yes, quit asking.
It is part of "console gaming culture"
the reason we have no used PC game market is that it was never really popular, and as such, we are not used to it by now. Though I would love to see PC games be more re-sale friendly.
But used gaming is part of what makes the hobby wonderful. I have an expendable income, and buy most of my games new, but there are kids out there who have no income save what they can get from mom and ...
The PS2 was an RPG heaven for sure! The best RPGs of all time call it home, and I am hoping this new controller for the PS4 is going to invite the same amount of RPGs and technical sims to PS4.
Here's to hoping!
As a collector of vintage games, backwards compatibility is always something I lobby for. Even though I own all the previous sony, nintendo, and sega systems, I think that a console should still include this feature.
A lot of people wont think of buying a PS2 or PS3 once the 4 is released, but they still may want to re-visit old favorites. So why restrict them?
Hey, Ingram. Your butt-mad is showing.
I don't own a Wii U. I probably wont for a few years. I am a sony fan boy. I play almost exclusively on PS2/PC.
Listen to my words: The 8th console generation started with the 3DS and all following consoles, regardless of quality, are a part if the 8th generation.
That is just how time works. It is linear.
Good blog, and an entertaining read I am sure, for those not aware of what a console generation is.
We are WELL into the 8th gen now, and people need to quit griping about graphics. Graphics are one of the least important aspects to a game, and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Best game I have ever played. I am glad my over seas bros get it at long last!
