I agree, Rock Band 2's seems much better so far. 'Course, I'll wait for the entire World Tour set list before I pass judgment.
It is you who fails at logic. If Crackdown and Test Drive Unlimited have the ability to share, and show paid content without the DLC being on the disc, why should Soulcalibur? A patch isn't that big of a deal.
See, the first wave of DLC didn't bother me. Sure, it was close to the game's release which beckons the question "why the hell wasn't this on the disc when I bought the game?", but it's one of those "don't like it, don't have to buy it" situations. This is different, I've technically already purchased this content, and now they want me to pay for what already IS on the disc. Incredible.
I don't think you've noticed, but 95% of what Squeenix has released in the past 5 years have been remakes, ports, and Final Fantasy VII spin-offs. You'd have to be mentally challenged to say it isn't coming - the signs are all there. It has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of their recent "original" games.
It's going to happen someday, Squeenix would be stupid to pass it up. We might not see it on the PS3 but it'll happen.
Looks like he did indeed get his copy early.
Over the past few months this game has gone from "couldn't care less" to "worth checking out" and finally "gotta own" in my book. Amazing how I let this thing fly under my radar for so long.
If true, can't say I'm surprised. It was getting slammed by press last month (whether it was biased and unfounded I don't know), and after playing the demo I could tell the game was significantly flawed. Regardless, I'll probably rent it for some good co-op times.
Nice to know their priorities are in order.
This list needs Juiced: Hot Import Nights.
I'll be getting it on the PS3 too, but I still have to wait for it to be translated so I can understand it. :P
Well, it's hard to judge how long localization will take with an unfinished product.
Finally! Glad to see a release date pegged on this this thing. I hope it doesn't take too long to localize. :\
Er... so is this the shocking news?
Excellent news, I'm looking forward to this even more.
Actually, as ridiculous as this is going to sound to you, Chris did get rewarded. Aside from the obvious internet fame he's received, and his name in the Guinness World Record book, he's become an official spokesperson for The Ant Commandos (a third party guitar controller manufacturer) which he'll probably make some money off of.

I'm sorry but I think you misunderstood me. I'm VERY happy for Chris, I've been checking his progress on ScoreHero for a very long time. I was not debunking Chris' video, I was debunking the video THX posted.
That vid is fake, it's just using an editing program like After Effects and ripping a 100% run from a bot that was posted in January (I posted the vid for you). Chris is the first one to do it.
It doesn't actually separate the notes, it's a visual aid if anything. Scorehero.com and *most* tournaments allow it. Neversoft has even stated they're removing it as a "cheat" and making it an option (just like every other rhythm game on the planet), because it isn't actually cheating at all.
Still nothing incredible yet, in my opinion. There's some great songs here for sure, but they don't seem like fun Guitar Hero songs (which I see as most important). And no, I'm not the type of person who just wants insanely hard charts all the time.
