Man, you sure are passionate... I wonder how excitable you'd be if you played real sim shooters, like OpFlash or ArmA.
I understand all of these fanboys are going through some sort of metamorphosis, sort of like when a girl's body starts changing and the confusion sets in, but Killzone 2 is still a fairly arcadey shooter. As arcadey as COD4 or Halo? Hell no. That doesn't make it the most realistic game ever made for Christ's sake.

Great game, definitely deserves more than a 7 IMO, but I totally understand their criticisms. Still nowhere near the greatness of the first two, but I don't think anyone expected otherwise.
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King will give Gears some stiff competition.
...it's a matter if they'd be willing to do it. G4 used to be a great gaming channel. They didn't suddenly forget how to record gaming related programming, they changed their focus. They simply don't want to be one anymore. Case in point is the recent G4 Rewind programming. It ran for, what, a month? Two, or three maybe? Now it's cut down to nothing. (which is their own fault for airing it when everyone's at work and school)

Being the huge Seinfeld fan that I am, I thought the commercial was great as a piece of entertainment. As an advertisement for Vista, it was terrible.

The controls have been the same since Resident Evil 1, the only thing that's different in 4 is the ability to free aim.
And yes, Resident Evil 4 is an Action game/Shooter. It isn't survival horror anymore, it's an entirely different beast now and people are recognizing that, which is why it's being criticized for not having a slicker control scheme.
