Camping can be useful, but I find it far more effective to do a " patrolling defence". I.e. out flanking the attackers

Before this console generation, PC Betas were much more civil affairs and you actually felt as though you were contributing to the final game, now it's just people expecting a demo of the final product.
It doesn't help that most console " betas" are actually just demo's, ...

It is not representative of the final product, it is there to allow the developers to fine tune and balance the game and the servers.
This is why all betas should be closed to stop morons complaining about things like the graphics.

The beta you're playing is around one month old. Most of the bugs you're experiencing have already been taken out of the final build.

your PC is 4 years old and you can run Crysis? love to see that. Crysis was only released 3 years ago (November 2007 i think). My pc is 9 months old an i'd have to spend around £500 more to be able to run Crysis at top whack. Anyway, my point was (and i agree with you here) Console games should never be compared to PC's graphically, as PCs have a shorter "upgrade" cycle than consoles i.e. 6 - 12 months versus 6 - 8 years for consoles.
And how much did you spend on your PC to get it to run Crysis? (I spent £1200 and still have to turn some settings down to get a decent frame rate). Whereas it cost me £250 to buy a PS3 and play GT5 @ 1080p 60 Fps.
My point is GT5 looks fantastic seeing as it's running on what's basically a four year old rig.
