All the talks of this game, whether negative or not, make me want to buy this game. Damn you N4G.
Skill to kill...
This is the only comment that matters in this thread. Pretty much sums it up.
The BETA shouldn't be available to the public overall. These are leaked files from the internal BETA and can played on hacked Xbox 360s. There are internal BETAs for the other platform, just the 360 version is available to JTAGs.
Yeah, even for Domination and CTF. The last kill gets the final killcam. Is it pointless for these gametypes? Yes.
It's not really a platform thing. I think most of these guys feel comfortable with running around in the open like that because most people who are on this BETA aren't good players at all. I bet once this hits retail people will be playing way more defensive.
"only 4 playable maps online." Just because you can't get used to different maps doesn't make the rest of the maps unplayable.
Just release the game already so everyone can play it for 2 weeks then forget about it.
Most people fail to realize that CoD is an arcade-styled shooter. Nothing about it should be realistic.
I think the real title is "Buy driving wheel, you might get a copy of GT5 if it exists." If they keep holding the game back, it's going to bomb.
Stop hatin'.
The title wasn't funny. Just stick to the serious titles. Gamesradar -10 points.
Mainly because typical release dates are Fridays in the EU and in the US the release dates are on Tuesdays. Activision made the push for Tuesday worldwide because they want to see those day 1 sales bragging rights. MW2 had that big push off of the success of CoD4 (CoD4 didn't have that worldwide release). It's rare to see EA publish a game on the same day worldwide.
@badz149 Since you want to get so general about it, then Medal of Honor reinvented the Bad Company brand.
I think to get the game out faster. Wasn't it announced late last year/early this year? The work flow would be faster with a dedicated studio on each end of the project.
Different reviewer probably. There's no one solid editor doing reviews. It's all split up.
I think they focused way too much on the frame drop issue (which is only existent to IGN?) than the rest of the mechanics on the game. I don't think they gave it a fair shake or gave the game enough time to give it a full review.
It's only in the last screenshot they have there, on the rest the logo looks fine.
Yeah, I see that. Plus, the quality already looks horrible.
Who are these fanboys? Do they actually exist? Everyone talks bad about them, but I have yet to see one on this site. Or do they not visit this site? Poor fanboys, stop talking behind their backs.
