A new ip this late into the gen is really a hit or miss process as a flagship title. With a solid fanbase and following I can see why they went this route, to prolong the duration and flow of games coming through and to have another game to sell in the spring of 2013.
It's more of a profitable business choice than anything else. A sound one at that.
This could take place right after the locust invade sera. It'll be interesting to find out Epic how Epic mold the storyline to fit the canon of the 3 game arc.

It's really disappointing as well. I had high hopes for conviction, but it was nothing more than a mediocre stealth game. Let's hope they prove me wrong and bring back traditional stealth in Blacklist
I'm not one to shit on parties but I can't see this happening at all, regardless if Halo 2 was on PC. System requirements could mean anything i.e (Hard-drive space), which is more often than not in relation to the arcade xbox slims with 4GB of memory etc as john2 pointed out.
He was terrible. I hope they have splinter cell lurking in the shadows somewhere, even in the vain of a trailer. Just to officially confirm the games presence.

I came late in on this one, but it's just hilarious to read through the comments and see the trolls show their true colours.
The god rays reminds me of the same tech used in gears of war 3. It's certainly a nice effect. I can't wait for campaign footage to blow us all away at E3.

Id like to see developers break the mould and support games with different methods of longevity. What 343 industries is doing with spartan ops is a step forward in seasoned support, a reason to come back to the game in a co-op experience week in week out.
Well it's referring to the 8th generation and windows 8 functionality not the 3rd Xbox.
Without explanation it doesn't make sense but so didn't the 360. They will market it as going from 360 degrees of entertainment to infinite possibilities. Just my 2 cents.
