launch edition ps4 and Xbone here
Sony's been playing games like this since I can remember.
Rootkit scandal anyone?
I feel the same as the other pc gamers in here. But after seeing DLC become the standard when I thought no one supported it and watching it change the industry.
I realized that nowadays speaking with my wallet is not getting through anymore. So I signed this petition.
I also still don't buy DLC.
@mr. magoo
oh god really? a minimum of 10 really?
so All the video cards I've ever owned have been lying to me all these years when I would test my overclocks?
This is exactly why I remain neutral as a pc gamer.
The big AAA multiplat games launch on steam at $60.
The only difference within the year it sits at $10-$20 off and they almost always get a 50-75% off tag during a seasonal steam sale.
within a couple years these big games get priced at $5 to $10.
No one should be talking until we see how M$ handles the prices down the road.
I don't buy it.
Battlefield 4 is essentially Battlefield 2
the changes from 1942 to BF2 were massive. The changes from BF2 to BF3 were a removal of MANY BF2 features. BF4 is just them re-implementing BF2 features.
DICE should be facing the same scrutiny IW/3arch are facing.
more gun play confirmed.
Mirror's Edge is now an fps...
I don't blame him.
The dude feels like he's owed all his dues. Doesn't mean I support him. I just got no beef with a man trying to get his.
They got rid of it because With new console DRM there would be no need for it. They prematurely jumped the gun and announced no online passes before E3 went down.
They were supposed to look like the good guys announcing doing away with it. X1 DRM meant they didn't need it any longer.
Look at it this way.
EA backed M$ on this. M$ threw publishers under the bus here when the sh*t hit the fan. Publishers were in on it but are now caught with...
You are aware that the same company that makes Sony's GPU makes M$'s GPU right?
the architecture will be the same the only difference will be clockspeed. but when you are talking a couple hundred Mhz. The difference is just 5 fps.
You aren't gonna get elaborate AA or higher resolutions. Just a couple FPS and that only matters if the game runs under 60fps as both I imagine will have Vsync enabled. meaning a 60fps cap.
a day later?
for what reason? it's not like MS's opinion or stance changed
Take it from a pc gamer that goes to back to the 90's.
Back then and now I would do whatever it took to reach 60fps.
graphics configs, overclocking, the works. You DO NOT want 30fps in an fps. please for the love of all that is sacred gaming ground. Do not let anyone convince you that you can't see the difference between 30 and 60.
This is a fresh start for console gamers. Demand 60fps in your titles.
looks like monster hunter...im interested
Ok mccarthy I'll bite.
Please explain steams drm. There's many forms of drm. Surely you would already know that though. Then explain how it's bad for gamers
This is when next gen starts.
We've had 1080p and over 60fps for years already
@pandehz
you...people like you...

people on pc is the reason ff11 was so successful.
Microsoft easily shot past Sony in terms of games.
the used games announcement fell on deaf ears here since I don't remember the last time I bought used.
That said I'm still considering a ps4 since netflix, and hulu are not behind ps+
I thought I would be at a decision after E3. But I really wanna try out some of X1's exclusives. This sucks.
Ghz is meaningless without benchmarks
show me the numbers and I'll show AMD the green.
I don't play it anymore but I have no doubt the PS crowd will enjoy this one.
I switched from BF3 to PS2 and never looked back.
I played BF3 on Ultra 100+fps 64 player servers so it says alot about how well made PS2 is.
I truly believe PS2 Incorporates what should be the de facto Free 2 play pricing model for First Person Shooters. The only other F2P game that compares is League Of Legends.
