It's...it's as if they're ACTUALLY running in place! Well done, Kinect!
@ndibu
Come back when those games are proven to...y'know, work flawlessly with the kinect, which can't even seem to work well with simple avatars.
Oh also, bonus points if you come back and a couple of those games aren't on-rails.
I respect Inafune for creating Rockman, but his recent stuff? Not really that impressive, Inafune. So people might say "Yeah, his stuff isn't impressive because he's part of the demographic that is five years behind," but in my opinion, this man isn't even qualified to judge other developers. Capcom is just absolutely terrible lately. They can't even manage to keep pre-established franchises looking good.
Seems like whether or not the footage is public or private is set by developer request. So Square Enix probably said they didn't want their footage shown on the stream.
Basically -_-.
It looks like they're not letting anyone besides the people in the actual conference SEE the footage. It's just sound.
They were doing 3rd Birthday. Now it's obviously Kingdom Hearts.
Sure it is.
So you want it to be less of a fighting game than it already is? Nice.
Easy mode, huh? What, does it add conveyor belts to the hallway?
So your complaint is that PS3 devs don't reuse the same game engines over and over like 360/Wii devs and instead create new, often innovative ones that use the console's hardware more effectively? Huh. That might be the biggest compliment I've heard for the ps3 and its devs in awhile. Thanks wii60. You really ARE a nice guy.
The entire Soul Blazer series is amazing (Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma) and so are Secret of Mana 1 and 2. Terranigma's and Secret of Mana 2's graphics actually are as good as Chrono Trigger's, if not better.
That being said, Chrono Trigger is still my favorite jrpg on any console from any generation.
Thanks for admitting that 360 has nothing but shooters. Lol gears as action/adventure. I believe you were trying to spell "shooter". Congrats.
You're so right. Nothing Sony releases can ever compete with the 360's shooters and...uhh...their shooters and...hm. I got nothing.
Oh FFFFUUUUU-- First degree burn, my fishy friend. +bubble.
Because American companies are qualified to judge Japanese devs. I'd say the Japanese gamers have more of that right since we don't see even a fraction of the stuff that actually gets released in Japan due to "lack of interest" in the west. And honestly? I don't blame them.
Uh huh. See, Guitar Hero and Rock Band are MUSIC simulators. What exactly is this going to be simulating? Certainly not music. Maybe it'll be the next GTA game.
I just finished watching this. This article gives it too much credit. The only fighter with moves that remotely resembled what they're like in the game was Eddie Gordo. Jin used double lifts kick once, and his grab where he kicks the opponent's head one way then the other during the Marshall Law fight, but after that I don't know what the hell happened.
And Kazuya using two axes? This is bastardization at its finest. I don't know what this article is thinking ...
I would think the one with the actual guitar is the more innovative of the two. Activision added...powerups and transformations...to an instrument simulator. I'd call that desperation, not innovation.
Can't wait until this man blows my mind for the third time without fail.
@Raiinstorm81
Really? THAT'S what Haunt looks like? I thought it was going to at least attempt to be a serious horror game. With that art style, it's only going to scare people who managed to get scared by Luigi's Mansion.
That's really too bad. I was hoping it would graphically look scary, at the VERY least.
