This text sounds much more like a preview, an article that I could have written without ever playing the game. Every little piece of info it shares is obvious and present on any review and recent gameplay leak, except for the story ultra generic comment.
It is a must buy to me, but, c'mon, will the trend be hit fishing with fake reviews now? Disgusting.
Performance wise? Yes, truly next gen. It makes me want to buy this game much more.
Design wise? We're still on the last gen... We are still playing under Red Dead Redemption, Demon's Souls and Call of Duty shadow/archetypes. Can't wait to see the next design earthquake!

One has to be pretty dumb not to realize he reviewed the beta for hit fishing.
Also GTA had almost no reward for the side activities, while Watch Dogs has even locked content until you perform some side actions.

I strongly disagree with the comparison method. It seems like GTA V's map is quite zoomed in and the other are not.
Compare the size of each block, for instance.
Anyway, as said, Watch Dogs seems to have lots of activities, something that GTA V was pretty bad at, since the map was quite empty and the activities were all instanced, not well tied into the open world.
After that "he's not director, only manager in Dark Souls 2" chapter, it is very great to hear these news.

This respect goes both ways.
Their attitude is also money driven, since they know people will pirate less of their games and look forward more to them... But, then again, it proves that good business can be lucrative and done without abusive schemes and gimmicks all over.

It isn't even near the MW2 level (top tier all around), but still a game very above the average.
They say it every year for every subsequent entry. It is never true, yet somehow people keep eating up the same lies through the EXACT SAME PHRASES.
Unbelievable that people are swallowing that... CoD4.8 will be groundbreaking.
