You can wait for that answer after Microsoft explains the same with Halo MCC
I believe this is happening because of the so called insiders. They are spoiling all the surprises and companies could choose to announce their games before.
Honestly, I would rather have an E3 without any previous "insiders" leak so I can see all the surprises together in one place.
Sadly, we won't see that anymore.
The question for some of us is going to be if one can play the game without having playing the other 3 games.
I have never played a Fallout game before. Will the game be made also for new people? Or you have to play all the other games to understand the story. That will be a point to consider for some of us.
This would explain why MS is now focusing more on PC gaming lately. They are trying somehow to maintain the xbox brand relevant which is their job to do.
The problem here is that if they merge with PC, IMO, people would rather play on PC than on xbox. MS must he careful with that strategy because it could result on something good or it could destroy the xbox platform.
This game has some kind of Zelda and ICO vibe which I like.
I like The Witcher 3 a lot but in no sense I believe IMO that it will affect From Software games. Also, I find W3 the same level of Bloodborne because they both give unparalleled experiences.
In fact, I would love to see in the future a game with the scope of W3 and the fluid, smooth, brutal and amazing gameplay combat style of Bloodborne. That would be so awesome.
The Last Guardian will be announced at E3.
A source familiar with the matter has told me.
You see, I can play that game too.
The lose here is for Square Enix in both money and game positioning. You cannot expect to position your game as a big worldwide phenomenon or make a lot of money if you ignore the leading console that almost has 80% of the console market.
Second, how many PS4 owners do you really think will invest $350 x1 console + $60 live membership plus taxes just to play 1 game? Less than 3% could. And let's remember PS4 has Uncharted 4 that is a way bigger blockbuster than Tomb Raide...
Uncharted 4 is top anticipated game for me on PS4.
Do you imagine if Sony did this at E3
-Open presentation.
-Say hello to the fans.
-Present a trailer of The Last of US 2 and The Last Guardian.
-Drop the microphone
-End of presentation
- E3 won by Sony!!!
Nice crossbow. I hope it doesn't require a high level to use it.
Also, I want a DLC where I can ride a dragon and see the gorgeous map from the air. I don't use Roach that much.
Maybe I am wrong but I don't see the value on MS paying a lot of money to Activision for COD DLC time exclusivity if the game is selling 3x time better on the competitor's console.
Is like, I pay huge a month of money for the marketing and yes, the game sells a lot, but in the competitor's console.
But as I said, maybe it is just me that doesn't get it.
That new Batman game will surely move a lot of PS4. Sony must make a bundle. Pretty orders are soaring for that game.
Sony took a bitting on may...
Oh but let's forget that the xbox has been taking a bitting for months in a row and globally.
I love QD games. I hope I can see their new game at E3.
It will not be doom but it will not reach "global big success" heights as it would had if the game was released on PS4.
PS4 has almost 80% of the console market. That is a huge segment that Tomb Raider will lost on sales which is insane.
I thought this was already on the x1 controller. They should give the controller haft the price for those who trade in their previous controllers
If the game is as good as the previous one, I will definitely pick it up when available on PS4.
Why Microsoft does not invest on their first party studio so they make their own games? They always rely on buying stuff from others instead of making their own stuff and so they don't have an identity as
to their own games.
Buying stuff from third party is ok now and then but completely relying on that while you have a week first party studio line up, that's not good and may be one of the reason xbox is lagging behind Playstation so much.
Nothing against Oculus, I am glad there is companies pushing VR to be a reality but for me the best option is Morpheus since it is easier for me and more affordable. Plug it, play it. I dont have to care if I have a good PC with the corresponding components and all that stuff.
I don't think that is a feeling but a personal wish.
