I think as these consoles are giving more options for visual settings, the 2 or 3 settings should be reviewed individually. They can say... yeah native 4k looks great but 1600p 60 works and looks great.

I say once the ps4 crosses the 100 million mark and all (or most) the major 1st partys launch that we know about its time for the ps5. Got and ds prob will be ps5 cross launch exclusives like botw. These rumors always start up to 2 years before launch. By this fall we could have concrete proof ps5 dev kits exist.
These people must be living under a rock. Sony supports their consoles 9-10+ years after they initially launch. Ps life cycles are between 6-7 years... we all know why it went longer with the ps3 gen so dont act dumb. Now children, whats 2013+6 or 7...

Thats your opinion, but it still wont stop the 10's of millions of Playstation fans from upgrading. However, this mid gen upgrade thing i kinda wish never happened as it probably proloned (stagnated) this gen. If i had the choice in getting a ps4pro in 2016 or a ps5 in 2019 and it being a true upgrade, i would have waited. Although i do have a pro, the base console would have worked just fine.
Are the bugs as prevalent in single player? It seems most bugs are in mp. If thats the case thats fu as that was the most inticing part about this game. This game could have easilly been an 8-8.5 if it was highly polished.

Granted, there are some games i couldnt see a difference like Monster Hunter World. But the majority of 1st and 3rd partys its plain as day.

Its funny because from 2006-2009 n4g was a much different place. It was all doom and gloom sony and the 360 was the darling child despite the rrod +33% failure rate. So in part i really do commend most of these diehard xbox fanboys for standing by their box because i too had to sit by and take my L during the infancy of the ps3. 2020 is 7 long years since the ps4 originally released... 7 years at the latest. 2021 is 8 freaking years. The ps3 gen was the only 1 to go 7 years and that was mainly because of the recession... all the ps4pro and xb1x do was prolong the gen by a year... if there was no mid gen refresh the ps5 would be shown this year or next and launch next year indeffinately

Thats most people, but devs know thqt to sell their game or pictures in a magazine it needs to be the highest res possible. I have a ps4pro and while playing god of war and switching between 4k or whatever and 1080 +35 fps... i gladly picked 4k. Its choice that needs to be given.
