Exactly, and it didnt hurt that MS completely facepalmed out the gate, and Sony had the cheaper more powerful box. Put more highly rated exclusives on top of that and it was just the perfect storm of domination for the underdog going into gen 8.

Exclusives have ALWAYS mattered. Ive been gaming since the original Nintendo Entertainment System. While exclusives werent as dominant then, it could still be observed plain as day that if you wanted Mario you got a NES and if you wanted Sonic you got a Sega.

Exactly... this is something that totally could have been implented in FO4. But even with the release of FO4 it was released super early on a dated engine and it showed with the dated graphics and bugs of the original release. I still enjoyed it but it should have been much more refined. This is what weve come to expect from bethesda games tho so no huge suprise there.

This an amazing racer and deserves all the praise and moneys it makes. Its arguably the best racer of its type this gen. Heres hoping this dev can duplicate this amount of success with their new i.p. in a new genre.
Agreed, but id guess Guerilla is moving away from Killzone after how the last 1 wasnt recieved too well even tho i enjoyed it. Id honestly rather see them make a new i.p. and start with a clean slate like they did with HZD.

Still really excited what this could be? Id rather a new i.p. than a new Killzone. I hope they are going for a new 1st or 3rd person shooter online multiplayer. That is really the only thing Sony is lacking in the hits dept (meta +85). If Guerrilla can produce a new i.p shooter that was as well recieved as Horizon Zero Dawn... it would be nothing short of amazing. They def have the funds after the massive commercial success of HZD.

Im excited to see how that game turns out as well... It will be the ultimate test to see if this developer is a 1 trick pony or not. Beautiful graphics and physics dont always make for an amazingly fun game with a great story among other things.
