This is goodnews. They can experiment with gameplay systems with other games then implement them in the FF series with a few tweaks but it took me a while to get used to ff12 and now after I got a few licences and freedom I am quite liking the game.
It's a port so why would there be a need to take advantage of the bluray and the hardware for that matter they just have to get a comparable up and running well than ship it.
Ocarina of time, Mario 1,3 and world and the MGS series are masterpieces in their own right as well as recently released Bioshock and Mass Effect PC are close but there are some gameplay drawbacks like some boring parts in ME and Bioshock technical issues in the 360 version.
For me its GoW3. I have not played a game that I enjoy more that's just plain polished from top to bottom but I want KZ2 and HR too so.........
Make Mario games Nintendo till you go out of business. What a stupid article. Some of the best games ever made are from this series. Its like a genius came up with Mario. Ridiculous. The system is underated. Seriously it does have great games in every genre. The only thing the DS has over it is great game ideas, which is huge. Its got the innovative 2screens, mic and touch screen. Graphics are decent for a handheld so DS still has the edge. But the PSP has PS2 quality games in GoW and FFCC plus full GTA games and great remakes of older games like MMPU and G&G. great racing games like RR and Wipeout plus great multimedia functionality.
Look we all have to get over this. Seriously we all get to play it which is great. If you have a PS3 it should be on one disc which is great and on the 360 multiple discs for sure without a doubt. So take your pick.

If M$ wants to do what Sony has done they already failed. PS1 opened the gaming flood gates. There were like 100 million sold. No one has achieved such success right out the gate except maybe the gameboy combining all its various versions. The PS2 correct me if I'm wrong is still giving the next gen consoles a fight. The reviews are bad because the game was in development for so long expectations were high. Many were hoping for a game on par with the best and it was just an average dungeon crawler. It's just a dissapointment for the developer is known for AAA titles.
There are not enough features out the box. Once people learn the have to buy battery packs for all wireless controllers, wifi adapters maybe new microsoft only hardrives they'll learn all the hidden costs associated with the system. Lets not forget LIVE aswell. OH Boy!
360 has done well in the US. But as we know exclusives will sell hardware. All I see for the 360 are sequels in the future. They need original IPs to bring in newcomers. LBP and the petgame look like Sony's on the right track, but even though bioshock2, ME2, Gears2 etc... are sequels helping the install base and keeping them happy. I don't see 360 breaking through to the main stream with their lineup.
Look who cares which system gets this game. The problem that people are having is we all shelled out a lot of money for a PS3 for this exclusive in particular as well as others that's why it stings because M$ must have known that. So their move is evil in my eyes. Sony never went after gears or gears2. This is really disloyal on Squares end however they did this to Nintendo before.
I already pay for the internet why would i want to pay someone to use my connection to play there games that I bought that give me the option to use my connection to play games on?
